best service i ever got anywhere ever

To the Exetel Staff: Due to it not being currently required, I have just cancelled my last mobile data account with exetel. The monetary value of my custom for exetel has never been much, so there is a good chance your christmas bonus' are safe, and generally no one will notice. Over the years I hav...

Re: real time usage

Well this is awkward. I won't go into the details of what I have missed here, but now the details Kavinda requested are in my outbox.

Re: real time usage

Hi Dazzled,

Web page is not gibberish, and the source code looks like a bunch of javascript to me.

Messaging board reports no user registered as Kavinda. Had that problem before on another forum. The user databases work sometimes.

real time usage

From the MF;

Last Billable Data Usage Update 27th Jul 2013 4:24 pm
Real Time Data Usage since Last Billable Data Usage Update at 20th Jul 2013 at 4:00 pm

Getting the same rather laggy real time update on 3 accounts.

Re: one way audio for incoming calls

Hi Dazzled, I did a long reply with all my theories but got distracted, wandered off for lunch and lost everything. The system probably timed my session out or the like. Anyhow, forget my theories, here are the firewall rules, between the asterisks is what I added. The other references to the ATA ip...

Re: one way audio for incoming calls

Hi fosfet, I will escalate your issue to our VOIP engineers. They will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks Nirmitha, but no need. Everything is working good so far. I posted this update as a few people had put some time into it, and then I left it dangling as I had to attend things elsewher...

Re: one way audio for incoming calls

Hi All, An update. I am back, got a new voip account, had so much trouble I came very close to cancelling it again, but now things are looking up........ I guess to cut a long story short, I put a few firewall rules in as recommended by the manual for voip, modified to suit. And that is so far worki...

Re: one way audio for incoming calls

Wed morning, no audio in. I think my next steps would be to set a fixed IP for the ata, though this seems a little desperate as the router always allocates the same address anyway. And get xlite working. I see with a call coming in xlite returns an address ending in 5060. So I suspect xlite uses por...

Re: one way audio for incoming calls

Well thanks Lodperera, As the system always did work sometimes, I am not quite on board with you at this stage. But I will let you know how it works out. Hope you are in for the long haul as I am going to be out of town for a few months soon. So it will be a while yet before I can share your optimis...

Re: one way audio for incoming calls

Try changing in SIP--> NAT support Parameters. Handle VIA received: yes Handle VIA rport: yes Insert VIA received: yes Insert VIA rport: yes OK, did that. Use preferred as G711a and disable all the other codecs for testing. Ran 4 tests 1 711a only, as above 2 All codecs enabled 3 711a only 4 All co...

Re: one way audio for incoming calls

The upload was rejected because the uploaded file was identified as a possible attack vector. So changing the extension did not work. Hi Baldrick, reset the router, not the ata. Lodperera wisely noted that as I am also having issues with xlite, my router is indicated. At the moment. To re-cap, it d...

Re: one way audio for incoming calls

Saturday.

Pap2: audio in, no audio out.

I was going to change the extension and attach the config file. But it seems with win 7, access to the file extension has been removed. I often find I have the question why?

Sounds like I should keep the progress of any signal upgrade private.

Re: one way audio for incoming calls

As you are having the same issue on X-lite , its hardly evident that changing your ATA will fix the issue. The only common factor when testing your service through x-lite and pap2 is your router. Well, this is logical. So Why don't we start from a factory reset to the router :?: Why not i guess. So...
