Re: APN for Exetel mobile services using the Optus network

the information in the APN field is not viewable when using an iPhone with an Optus SIM card, the ability to see this information or not is decided by the carrier whose SIM you are using, resetting the network settings will always load the default carrier profile for any SIM which has a carrier pro...

I'm having a little trouble finding a clear explanation of: A) which plans include unlimited data for social networking sites; and B) the website addresses you need to use in your address bar Some of the threads give an answer, but the answers get contradicted by another volunteer / staff member / u...

Re: HSPA VoIP Performance

I went to my X-Lite menu > SIP Account Settings > Properties > Topology > and under STUN Server I chose "Use Specified Server" and entered "stun.ekiga.net", then hit Apply and OK. No dice!! The audio from the microphone still has a delay. The delay gets worse as the call progr...

Re: HSPA VoIP Performance

I just got HSPA last week, and started my VoIP account a few days ago. I'm using a headset (earphones/microphone) and X-lite. The modem is attached to an external antenna and the signal strength is 92-99%. 9 out of 10 speed tests are between 850-950kbps (1 out of 10 was 690kbps). When I rang my land...
