Re: Optus Out Of Contract Customers

That sounds good. If that's the case, I am happy to stay. Am I able to get a written confirmation I won't be charged an early termination fee in March 2012 when I move?

Re: Optus Out Of Contract Customers

This is problematic. I'm out of contract and was planning to move in the next 6 months. Now I have to go on a new contract. When I move it will be the early termination fee plus the relocation fee, $190...is that correct?

Re: Optus Out Of Contract Customers

"Customers who do not recontract by this date will automatically be placed on our newer OT or OF Optus ADSL2+ plans which will match the monthly spend you are currently on, extra costs may apply if this is to occur" So if we don't want to renew our contract and you will automatically transfer us to ...

Re: Rationale Behind Change Of Plan 'Direction'

The Z plans seem to have dissapeared? I have to move house next month, I was wanting to change to the Z plan. These new plans are not very attractive. Is it still possible, or can I stay on my existing plan and get a new contract when I move?

Re: Off Peak Period Change

Nine hours would have been nice. The computer is in the bedroom, can't sleep with it on. Offpeak has pretty much disappeared :(

Re: Moving house with telstra phone line

Thank you, that's exactly what I needed, sounds like applying for a new line is the best option. There's a relocation fee either way right? Even if I was to move the codes and have the same number? Might as well go on a new line.

Re: Moving house with telstra phone line

I'm on NF/21BYOLINE. I don't know where I'll be moving yet, so I don't know about the exchange.

Moving house with telstra phone line

I'll be moving house in a month or so and I haven't relocated ADSL before. I have a couple of questions if anyone can help. I'm currently on ADSL2+, is it possible to check online if ADSL2+ is available at the new house? Once I've relocated my telstra line, how long does it take for internet to be w...

Re: Major Changes To 'No Frills' Plans

I'm interested in the new plans, the only thing putting me off changing is the 12 - 8am offpeak period. I'm on 2am - 2pm now, any chance of getting something closer to that with the change?

Re: New ADSL2 PAYU Plans

Will existing customers who changed their offpeak time to 2am - 2pm still keep their hours or will they be reduced to the 12 - 8am?

Re: 100 Free Calls

Okay, now that I've signed up for VOIP, I can't login to my account on the exetel website anymore. Is that normal or should I contact support?

Re: 100 Free Calls

Thanks for the help. I just ordered one. Any major benefits from that codec? I take it I just need to install that x-lite program and set it up in a similar fashion to Skype and Poivy?

100 Free Calls

I switched to the PTL A plan this month. When I go to apply for the Voip service it says "Included Calls in Minimum Charge $0". Is the 100 calls separate from this? Also is it best to use the exetel software or do you recommend some other free software? I'd be using a headset and pc.

Thanks!
