Re: Good iphone voip app?

I've been using "Siphon" with Exetel VoIP for about 6 months and it works great over WiFi and Optus 3G on an iPhone 3G/iOS3.1.2 - perfect call quality and the app looks professional, just like the iPhone "Phone" application, not some amateur toy application. Unfortunately its broken on my new iPhone...

Re: Thankyou

As there are no reasonable ADSL2 internet providers in my area and having no need for a home phone, I'm switching to cable broadband. I'd like to thank Exetel for its openness (JL's blog), transparency and most importantly, providing me and the people I advised to join, an excellent ADSL1 internet s...

Re: Exetel VoIP without other Exetel services

Excellent! :)

So, to ask for the answer for the third post in that thread, what is the process?

Cheers

Exetel VoIP without other Exetel services

Hello,

I'm currently on ADSL1 with Exetel, can I continue an Exetel VoIP service if I were to cancel my ADSL1 service?

Thanks

MoIP and iPhone

I understand Exetel MoIP application is awaiting AppStore/Optus/other beaurocracies, has the Exetel MoIP app been developed enough for owners of jailbroken iPhones to use instead of the VPhone application?

Thanks

Re: Change to AUP - Section (d)

As I read this thread, it appears Exetel have emotionally damaged a lot of fragile souls by changing their T&C's. HTFU souls. So I paid a visit to broadbland choice and it still appears Exetel offers the most bandwidth for the money for most plans, ADSL1 and 2 so it beats me why people are so upset....

Re: ADSL plans

Thanks for the reply Corey, I changed my ADSL service around 3pm on the 30th of October. I received an email that my ADSL plan has been updated as requested. The plan changed today from the old 12/54Gb to 12/60Gb. Isn't it meant to be 12/0Gb? UserFacilitiesScreenCap.PNG Could this be because I chose...

ADSL plans

Hi

I'm on TELI (12+54Gb 2am-2pm) and ADSL2 is unavailable on my exchange.

Is this plan one of the new unmetered ones?
TL-BA $0.00 $45.00 12 gbytes 0 gbyte(s) $3.00

Thanks

Re: Practical alternatives for managing off-peak and congestion

How about using a non technological method to change the peaks? Send an email to users over (say) 30gb off peak quota and ask if they're willing to voluntarily schedule their downloads after 4am to help maintain exetel's high speeds and low costs? A link to download managers would be useful. This wo...

Re: Change In Off Peak/Peak Times

I run a computer network. I schedule backups, sql maintenace, defrags, replication, downtime and other performance impacting activities to cause no/minimum of disruption to users. Why post that? Since the original email advising of peak time changes, I started taking notice of Exetel's MRTG graphs. ...
