Happy new year

Thanks to everyone in the Exetel team for great service through the year. I don't know much of what goes on behind the scenes to keep things running and offer a range of excellent products, but whatever you're doing, it's fantastic and I appreciate it :D

All the best for success in 2012.

Re: Three Months Free ADSL

A question about the "6 Months free" offer. Sorry, can't see a forum topic for that. I joined Exetel about 2 years ago. I switched from PTL-B to A30 ADSL2+ and a 12 month contract in January 2011. I added a CAP35 HSPA service in March 2011, and now get a $15 discount off the $45 ADSL plan. Yesterday...

Re: New ADSL2 Plan - Free

Is this still available for existing customers? I can't see it in Manage Services / Change Service for my existing (Powertel) ADSL 2+ service nor for my existing (Vodaphone) mobile service. I'm out of contract so need to switch plans this month, but very happy to stay with Exetel. My options are eit...

Re: Why P2P might be slow

Do P2P uploads cost Exetel? Since I don't pay for it, Is it worth me running my torrent client in upload-only to make available the Linux ISOs and other legal content that I've downloaded? I imagine this would benefit Exetel if other customers wanted the content, but some or all of it may be cached ...

Re: Off-Peak time reduction-This is a joke

... 10 gigs/month, BTW is an awful lot of just browsing. Incidental to the topic, but the above statement and my assumption re quota use caught my eye. In my household of three people (and two cats) I have to be careful about my 12 GB quota. I can average 6GB/month in my browsing without difficulty...

Re: Exetel ADSL/Wireless Usage Notification

I received the same, and my ADSL2 peak usage is showing 10.04GB of 12GB.

I'm going to sit on it for now as it sounds like a mistake. I'm interested to hear what you find out though.

Re: thanks for the wonderful job you do

Just echoing the comments from sparkles. I signed up to ADSL2 earlier this year, then moved a mobile service over from Telstra, and it's all been a really good experience.
