Re: Service number incorrect for address.
When I use an online internet service availability checker by entering my phone number, the result gives a completely wrong exchange. Could be the database of particular website has not been updated correctly. If you could PM me the service number, we can advise you with the correct exchange detail...

Re: Service number incorrect for address.
And I'm another one who has this same problem. When I use an online internet service availability checker by entering my phone number, the result gives a completely wrong exchange.
Why does this keep happening to everyone?
Can this be fixed for me please?

Drop Outs
I'm hoping someone can help me with a problem I am experiencing with my internet connection. For the past 36 hours I have been having constant line dropouts with my ADSL2+ Telstra-based connection. When dropping out, the DSL light on the modem will stay on for about 30 to 60 seconds, then will go ou...

Re: New "Z" plan Pricing
But don't you also need to factor in the $20 cost of SIM plus activation? So the CAP 19 plan would effectively work out as $128 over 12 months (after factoring in the ADSL discount) whereas with the Z8 plan the cost would be $96. So a saving of $32.

Re: A-30 plan availablility for current customers
Are these plans available for members yet or are they still coming? They are not showing up in my members area. I was on an AAPT-based plan until June this year and since then have changed to a Telstra TCV plan. I would very much like to change back to an AAPT-based plan if possible because I am now...

Re: Application rejected again
Finally after the third attempt I am now connected to Exetel. This involved a straight SST transfer without me having to disconnect from Internode first. So, to anyone who is considering transferring to Exetel in a similar way to me, it is possible to transfer directly from one company's ADSL1 to Ex...

Re: more adsl1 to adsl2 rejection queries
It seems like you are having a similar problem to me although I only want to transfer my internet conenction to an Exetel Powertel ADSL2 service. See thread here: http://forum.exetel.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=284&t=32371 Have you been able to resolve your issue yet? I've been trying to transfer over to...

Re: Application rejected again
I've just been rejected again for the same reason. So I don't think it matters what phone plan I'm on. Who actually rejects an application? Is it rejected by a human or is it a machine? So would it definitely has been rejected because of the reason they gave me in that Internode does not participate...

Re: Application rejected again
Thanks for you help Jason. I have just emailed provisioning. I placed the PTL application at about 1pm yesterday and about 1/2 hour later I changed the telephone plan. Telstra said that it would take 1 to 2 hours for the plan change to occur. Should I have allowed more time? And should I just try to...

Application rejected again
I tried signing up to a PTL ADSL2 plan last month and the application was rejected. I posted a couple of messages here and received some helpful comments. At the time I was told that my application was rejected because I had a Telstra Homeline budget phone plan and due to line sharing I could not ha...

Did you find out why the application was rejected? What can I do now to proceed with the application?JasonM wrote:Please PM your service number to me, I suspect that's not the reason, it just refers to the second part of the Application Status page.

Application rejected because didn't order modem
I submitted an application for the PTL plan on Tuesday and today I found out that my application was rejected because it indicated that "You didn't order a modem" This is strange because I have a modem. by JasonM wrote: It is OK to transfer. Re: Connect to Exetel ADSL2+ from Internode ADSL1
but you don't need to cancel for an ADSL1 Internode service to ADSL2+, just complete the application and we'll transfer it over. You can then cancel Internode's services after you are activated with us. Thanks Jason for that helpful information. That's great news. I contacted the sales department y...
