Re: Price Increase For Out Of Contract Customers - Continued
Also a response I received from paulp in the previous thread mentioned something about being able to move the service if I did choose to sign up for a new contract (even though I already know I'll be moving at least two times in the next 12 months)... If you move you wont resign for another 12 month...

Re: Price Increase For Out Of Contract Customers - Continued
Still haven't seen a definitive answer to this: I think there's been a change to the wording since I posted what you replied to. I waiting for clarification on which is the correct wording below: 2) If you have paid for a plan change since October 1st 2010 then any charge made will be credited again...

If you move you wont resign for another 12 months. It will carry through Sorry, are you saying we can take it with us when we move? what are the conditions? as currently we don't know where or when we will be moving... in a few months we will be temporarily moving to another unit while we look for ...

Re: Price Increases For Out Of Contract Customers
Yeah just checked... I changed over to the OTAA plan in December (last month)... because I got a bit of a shock in Nov when I checked our usage... I wasn't keeping an eye on it :( (Damn you ABC iView! ) and found we were going WAY over our 8GB peak limit (which we were paying $55/month for - ...

Re: Price Increases For Out Of Contract Customers
I'm confused... we recently (a month or 2 ago) changed to a "current" plan because the original one we were on was no longer suitable and the new one was better value - we also paid to change to the plan (in order to avoid starting a new contract, since we have our unit on the market, so don't know ...

Re: ADSL application rejected by who??
I can't believe this... application was denied again! And get this, the pigbond codes were removed from the line, but some joker at Tel$tra put them back on... The guy at Telstra that my wife spoke to called them all idiots ;) He removed all the codes again - while on the phone... so gotta apply wit...

Re: ADSL application rejected by who??
ok... sorry ;) My wife is now on the phone to Exetel... she's been on the phone to Telstra for ages - they are totally useless... The exetel support guy apparently really knows his stuff and is being really helpful - sounds to me that dumping telstra was the right choice not only just on price! Anyw...

ADSL application rejected by who??
Hi there, We were trying to apply for an ADSL2+ (anyphone) connection, but after waiting a few days without any email updates, I decided to check the application status on the web site... and found the following message: Your DSL service order has been rejected on technical grounds ----- Telstra Rej...

Re: Going for the record ;) nearly 7 weeks now!
HeyHey! Thanks! what did you do? I've been trying it every day for the past week and even this morning the ADSL light on the modem wouldn't light up at all... just tried it now (finally back from work) and the ADSL light is flashing, and now gone solid! WOOHOO! And while typing the PPP has gone soli...

Going for the record ;) nearly 7 weeks now!
I don't think this is Exetel's fault - I'd say it's most likely a Tel$tra problem... We moved on the 12th of March to our new place - after about 2 weeks of waiting for Telstra to connect our phone they told us we couldn't get our old number... so we were given a different number... but at least I c...
