Re: Charged $220 incorrect call out fee.
For anyone that is interested, i got an email from Exetel tech support today saying that the $220 call out fee stands as my "modem at the end of an extension cable was failing" despite 5 different modems replicating the same issue. I will accept this and pay this time That's really an unacceptable ...

Re: New Bundled ADSL/Wire Line/Mobile Plans
What happened to the free plan changes until 30th April? That message was headlining the change plan section in the user facilities a few weeks ago. Then it was gone even before the end of March.remosha wrote:The plan change fee is currently $20

Re: Passing of Mr John Linton
My condolences to his family and friends. I didn't know him personally, but his contributions here made me feel like I did. There are not too many business people that impress me like that. He will be sorely missed.

Re: No internet access beyond Exetel.
Okay thanks, but I am in Victoria, not Queensland. Does that topic still apply? The outage is more than Queensland.

Re: Very slow downloading speed this evening
It has slowed right down again tonight.
Your current bandwidth reading is:
1.95 Mbps
which means you can download at 249.8 KB/sec. from our servers.
Not as bad as yesterday evening but I should be over 10Mbps. What has changed since Sunday to make things so slow in the evening?

Very slow downloading speed this evening
Is there a problem with services in Victoria? I have been getting very slow speeds all evening and the Optus graph is completely flat on top.

Usage summary for anytime OCV200 plan not showing "off peak"
In my member page summary the usage is only showing the "peak time" usage amount out of 200GB. Yet the column graph and the detailed usage shows the correct amount used in the 24 hour period. I thought it was working properly earlier in the month but maybe I just didn't notice and it was always wrong.

Re: Price Increase For Out Of Contract Customers - Continued
Hi, I am currently on a naked service and I may possibly have to move residence within the next twelve months to a location not serviced by Optus. For that reason I am having difficulty pulling the trigger on a change to the OCV200 bundled plan. I have tried to confirm whether I will need to move or...
