Ok, so this is drawing up an old problem. But still have no fix on this. Have tried another new laptop and while it can pick up the connection, it will only connect with limited connectivity. I'm thinking the same. might be easiest to get someone in - just didn't think it would be that hard to get wireless working sigh... ah well!

Ok, tried those too, and now it connects, and doesn't have the 'limited connectivity' issue, however it still won't give internet connection...

So it 'appears' to be fully connected, but can't access internet....

My friend is taking her laptop to work today to see if it also has the same problem on the network there, however I'm unsure whether this will prove anything anyway, because i've had others use my wireless at home as well. Will look into the winsock stuff...if no LSPs should I do the...

I also found a setting (somewhere!) on my laptop that said "Share internet connection with other users on the network" - it was unticked... it almost sounded like it should be ticked? Hmmm

as for the winsock... i'll run that one you just told me, and if there is anything listed, i'll save it and let you know. May not do it until tomorrow (other laptop user isn't here yet).

I assume opening the Dynalink settings on both laptops would be the same, yes?
As you stated, it is ticked on...

Ethernet works on the 2nd laptop, however only if I input the IP as is in the Dynalink settings on my laptop.
