Re: Off Peak Periods

Taking all the self interests out of the equation, I believe a 12hr period is a must for Exetel to maintain a competitive edge in the market place. Also, giving a choice for periods is unique and useful to consumers and is a differentiator for Exetel. The aim of this excises is to control the Bandwi...

Re: ADSL Plans/$10 - $25 Per Month Discounts

For me, the reason I have Naked is I don't want any bundling. The true cost is more with bundles when you start adding phone and chargers. I use Pennytel VoIP. It works well and I use about $20 every 6 month with Penntel and the wife can talk let me tell you. I save some $80 with 2 prepaid mobiles a...

Re: After 14 Month Line speed had to be turned down. With a t

How easily reproduced is the issue? Hmmm that's a hard question? But at 24Mbps is the best change to repeat the symptoms. Maybe, if we got a tech there to look at that, he would have a better chance of finding the problem? OKay Cool, can you let me know so I'm not working on a server remotely Thank ...

Re: After 14 Month Line speed had to be turned down. With a t

Hi JasonM, Sorry been away on training since Sunday. I am now getting 0 upstream and 9 down - It’s been working fine until this morning at 24Mbps... The Helpdesk people have been really good. They now have asked me to try the modem elsewhere :) I have one computer directly into the modem and at one ...

After 14 Month Line speed had to be turned down. With a twist

Hi, I've have an issue with something, what I don't know.... I'm in QLD and some 16 months ago when I first started with Exetel I had 11+ Mbps average. When I first moved into my new house, after inspecting the wiring, I found the phone cable rusted and just hanging on the roof. I had the house re-w...

Re: ADSL2 Unlimited Plans (For Exetel Users Only)

If there was a naked DSL offering like this the ADSL1 and 2, I would definately sign up for it. And while on it. I have to say I'm just finishing my 12 months contract and the service from Exetel at all level beats hands down all previous providers I've used. I've recommended two user to Exetel and ...

Upgrade service, still on contract

I wish to upgrade my current NDSL Plan from $55/mnth, 12GB / 60GB to $50.00 25 GB / 60 GB or $60.00 50 GB / 60 GB (which I believe is a better deal for an extra 10 bucks, but I'm unsure I need that much) I am still under contract till mid next year. Can I upgrade my service now while under contract?...

Re: Change In Off Peak/Peak Times

I’m Confused. Could someone from exetel explain to me exactly how this has changed for me? This is my 2nd month. Within the first month I changed to 2am to 2pm. I received an email saying my off peak as of my third month will be 2am to 12pm. Currently on 2am -2pm In the forum people are saying that ...

Re: Change In Off Peak/Peak Times

You don't remove the lag by moving to 2:00am as stated in the email... Exetel is just shifting the lag to 2 am... Reduction in off peak from 12 hrs down to 10 hrs also does not remove lag or address customer needs. Also stated best for customers. No one asked me about the change, which customers are...
