Re: Billing Date Change

In agreement with others, billing date is irrelevant (I can't pick/choose Visa, Amex, Diners Club, Optus mobile billing dates either). To my great surprise, you actually can now. I applied for an Amex Platinum Edge card in December, and it let me choose my statement date (within a 3 day range). I g...

Re: OCV200 Bundled ADSL with telephone service

On the sign up form https://www.exetel.com.au/members/service_naked_upgrade_bundle.php in "member services", for say the OCV200 plan, there is a section as follows: I would like these Exetel services [ ] A full telephony service (this includes local calls, long distance and service and equipment ch...

Re: Why cant i cancel now?

When exetel email their customer to inform about plan change and price increase they said members are free to cancel or churn away, but when i made a request to cancel, it was so difficult for them, its not like i havent pay for this month....jesus. This must be really frustrating for you, but it o...

Re: When will OCV Naked offer expire?

I have a somewhat confused relative not sure about next step..... is OCV200 still available to current Exetel/Optus bundled customers (those with bundled ADSL2 plus phone)? It is not showing in her user facilities. No, OCV200 is not available to your relative. It is only available to users who are ...

Re: Price Increases For Out Of Contract Customers

So if you have 2 ADSL services using the same email details how do you work out which service the email relates to if both services are out of contract? I would have thought it will apply to both. Do you want an identical second email? Of course, it would be more confusing if you had one in contrac...

Re: Naked users forgotten?

I have a couple questions regarding the emailed offer: 1. The OCV 200/19 plan includes internet, line rental and $19 mobile service for $70/m over a 12 month contract, is that correct? 2. The email states "Having 200 gb of monthly downloads usable at any time" - that means no peak/off-peak, just 20...

Re: Price Increases For Out Of Contract Customers

The primary reason for me to go Naked and port my Telstra number to voip was to be able to carry my phone number with me when travelling. When going with the suggested change I'd need to forward (redirect) the reinstated pstn to a new Exetel voip number. Question 1: How much is forwarding from a ps...

Re: Off Peak Periods

I can never understand why people think they are missing out on something if they don't use their full quota. There are probably millions of kilometers of roads out there that we pay for (via taxes of course). They are there to use if we need them, we don't seem to feel ripped off if we don't use th...

Re: New ADSL2 Plan - Free

When the new plans are available to existing users, what will the cost be, if any, to change from an Optus Naked plan to the new plans? I am not currently under contract. I want to move to the OTFree2 plan.

Re: Rationale Behind Change Of Plan 'Direction'

I've just realised why so many people are upset with the new plans. I don't think they realise that they have 2am - 8am off-peak. I only just realised it. I didn't notice the * on the plan page. * Downloads between 2 am and 8 am do not count towards your included plan allowance from 1st June 2010 I'...

Incorrect Data Usage

I logged a ticket regarding my data usage on November 15. Ticket number is 1872876. Unfortunately the only response I have received is that the usage meter is correct, but the issues I raised have not been addressed. The issue is that the usage figures changed, and I believe they are now incorrect. ...

That was a bonus for me when I went Naked. No Box Office = less cash spent!

Re: Wrong charge??

You must have activated the "shaped" option or gone more than 1GB, but less than 2GB, over your limit.
