Any concrete way of escalating my problem Corey... as I've not had any replies from helpdesk since Saturday despite sending about 5 messages...I've done all they asked ( 50xping to gateway and exe server + trace even threw in a dslreports line quality test). My last 2 messages were basically updated...

Cant Find enable WAN Ping / ICMP on my linksys wrt160n

but found Allow Anonymous Internet Requests
and Allow IDENT (Port 113)

both of which are now enabled...is this the right thing?

Thanks...I've sent off 50 pings to 220.233.0.9 and also to my default gateway. as for the icmp...I'm running a speedstream 4200 in bridge mode into a linksys wrt160n. Can't find a icmp toggle on the linksys so I'm assuming I need to reset the modem and connect directly to that...am I on the right tr...

Lodged a ticket with the above ping and trace...and received a reply asking me to post ping and trace??? Then the ticket changed to resolved... Is it standard practice for a ticket to be switched to "resolved" after a reply/question but with out any resolving?

Bad Pings with variable Speeds

Hi... For the last week or so I've been experiencing really variable DL speeds and constant bad ping. I've tried everything to resolve it (even different modem) but I'm at a loss. Any one else had trouble with Fring for iPhone since the update (2.0.0.4 IIRC).
Previously I had it all up and running fine...but since the update it drops the call as soon as it starts ringing.
I re-installed fring and now it won't recognise my userID and password.
