Re: wireless broadband plans question

Thankyou Bellag , quick question , I've just gone almost all of the order process where I selected "I am an existing exetel customer" there was no option during that process to nominate automatic payments etc. , before I continue I'd like to know if that's o.k. or should I select "new customer" to a...

wireless broadband plans question

Hi all , I've been on an old prepaid plan for some time ( years ) and was recently wanting to move to a monthly plan which was the 2 gig per month @ $15 per month , is that still available because after the recent website changes I have not been able to find it .

Cheers :-)

Error 619 question ( staff input appreciated )

Very occasionally I lose my connection and when I try to re-connect the GUI gives me an error 619 - " A connection to the remote computer could not be established " etc. Sometimes ( like today ) the dropout lasts less than hour , other times I give up and try next day and it's been sorted. My father...

HSPA recharge issue

Hi all , I've recently done my first 90 day / 2 gig recharge and I did it at day 85 of the first period and still had plenty of data left , I figured I'd do it a little bit early as i did it online and didn't want to run out and lose internet access. Anyway , while I was finishing off the remaining ...

Re: yagi antennas

I've recently added a signal direction finder and magnipier to my Yagi , how it works is when the main arm of the Yagi antenna is aligned with the Broadband Enabled Activity Key ( henceforth known by the acronym of "b.e.a.k." , the direction of signal reception is optimal. Here's how it looks - . . ...

Re: yagi antennas

So at the end of the day after simply bolting this antenna to our existing TV mast in around 10 minutes, I actually tried going the other way , i.e. putting my tv antenna below the yagi on the taller pole I put up for the W.B. antenna but when I did that my wireless signal degraded to almost zero ....

Credit in showing in invoice , how to access ?

Long story short , I was charged an extra activation fee of $25 from my Visa card at time of signup , that has been corrected and the latest invoice shows the $25 sitting there in credit ( thankyou ) , will that money go towards my recharge ( prepaid plan ) automatically when I recharge or should it...

Re: Error 619 on Connection Attempt to Exetel Wireless BB

Hi Lawrie Did you make sure to create a new profile, rather than editing the existing Optus one? That was where I found I went wrong with the first one I installed (over the phone I must say :D ). By creating a new profile, the non-saving of the correct APN problem disappeared. Gidget That's exactl...

Re: Voip over wireless broadband without computer , possible ?

Definitely an E160E Dazzled , apparently there was a shortfall in supply of the 169's and these were/are being used to fill the gap.
I still paid the same price though .
