Re: NBN Notification of Service Installation

I've been advised by NBN.Co that my property will be connected sometime between the 6th of June and the 26th of October. As I'm an existing customer, is there anything I need to do, or do Exetel get informed and automatically switch me over, or what? Hi, Kindly PM your service details. We will arra...

Re: Billing changes In July 2014

a simple question with hopefully a simple answer: will I receive an invoice tomorrow (being the 1st of July) for June's recurring costs or will that also be included in the 14th July Invoice, when it comes? You will be invoiced for and will be debited tomorrow. This is for any excess usage for the ...

Re: Porting number away from Exetel

Hi I am trying to port my number away from Exetel. Telstra cannot perform the port because the account number I am using is rejected. What account number should I use? I'd really like not to have to wait another 4 days for this. Thanks Karl Where on my invoice, account Service area is the account n...

Re: You want twice for less?

We have just received the same e-mail notice for our services. 1. It is distasteful to be forced off a plan. Exetel does this far too often. It is inconvenient for customers, and it punishes user loyalty. Every time we are forced off a plan, we seriously review our relationship with the supplier. F...

Re: Is exetel going to offer Home zone"

It has now been over a year and a half since this question was first asked, surely there has been some progress? if not why not be proactive and do something about it not just answer with no ETA? I don't think I am the only one with a reception issue and would like to get other members of my Family ...

Re: Is exetel going to offer Home zone"

Hi stevecJ/Exetel, Is Exetel ready to offer the Home Zone device yet? My Optus reception at home requires improvement! (I already have the device but am unable to add Exetel Optus numbers). This is still in progress, once we are ready to launch the product it will be mentioned in the monthly news l...

Re: Is exetel going to offer Home zone"

Is there any development on this? I would be very interested and it should solve our problems. Unfortunately not yet. It is most likely to be late this year or early next year. Hello, Is there any development on this? it is well into the new year, I hope somebody from Exetel pursuing this with Optu...

Re: Is exetel going to offer Home zone"

I certainly would be more interested in exetel mobile plans if i had such devices to boost optus 3G signal at home and work. Are exetel bundling this into any plans or providing them to existing customers that have poor optus coverage? Yes we will be but we are waiting on Optus to give the go-ahead...

Anything at all??

I would also be interested if the OPTUS 30 day guarantee, as asked in other threads applies to these plans.

Re: Poor coverage & clarification on APN

Hello Janaka, We have the iPhone 3GS and are on the Z8 plan. Cheers, Steve Correct APN for iphone on this plan should be YesINTERNET. However, the signal coverage into your nominated address is not that great. Near by area has been identified for coverage issues by Optus. Hence, I have requested mo...

Re: Poor coverage & clarification on APN

We have just started one of the new "Z" plans on the Optus network, very poor coverage in our area, we fined we can only get coverage if the phone is located on the kitchen bench facing North, 10 steps away in the lounge no reception, the same phone had no problems with the other carrier, when appl...

Re: New "Z" plan Pricing

But don't you also need to factor in the $20 cost of SIM plus activation? So the CAP 19 plan would effectively work out as $128 over 12 months (after factoring in the ADSL discount) whereas with the Z8 plan the cost would be $96. So a saving of $32. Yes you could be right, I was only looking at the...
