got this error from my 7401VGPR3 modem:
sip_SipTransactionManager_?:none: SIP Registration Error 1 for phone 03xxxxxxxx
no dial tone, can't dial out

Is it only me or Exetel VOIP/SIP server down?

Start using Exetel ADSL2+ and VOIP last week, I've made several voip phone calls to China on last Wednesday, but it never appeared on voip usage meter page (https://www.exetel.com.au/members/voip_usage.php ) Is this normal or something goes wrong? CoreyPlover, thanks for your prompt and detail reply. I'm renting a unit on a 12 months fixed-term contract, so maybe keep using NF/22BYO Line for 12 months is a good choice. BTW: if I change plan from NF/22BYO Line to NF/23BYO Line, will it incur Exetel early cancellation fee or any other fee? Than...

Change plan from "NF/22BYO Line" to "NF/22NoTel"?

Is it possible to change plan from "NF/22BYO Line" to "NF/22NoTel" before initial contract expired?

If the answer is yes, how much will Exetel charge me for that?

(I'm looking for a way to sneak around Telstra's early cancellation fee...)
