Authentication failure

ADSL2+ connection was fine until about 20:40, and now everything has stopped. Green lights across the board on the modem, but logs indicate that it "failed to authenticate ourselves to peer". Username and password work fine when i log into the members area to view my ADSL status, and i have re-enter...

Thanks for the details.

Not sure what got done, but it seems to be working now.

Never got the PM, so I don't know if anything needs a permanent fix or not...

max_user_connections setting for database

Hi All, Just activated my hosting and MySQL DB to give Lime Survey ( http://www.limesurvey.org/ ) a bit of trial run for some stuff I'm doing. Everything was working correctly until I got into the administration side of the site. I altered some settings and clicked "save", and now all actions return...

Re: Naked ADSL2 Line Sync gone missing

Well, modem replacement has fixed the missing line sync issue.

Now speed is dead - 1472/128 Kbps being reported... :(

But that's an issue for another ticket/forum.

Re: Naked ADSL2 Line Sync gone missing

New modem has just arrived so I will test that out tonight. From what research I've done, it goes: Telstra -> MDF -> Common Property -> Unit wall socket. Yes, there might be a cost imposed getting the Strata to fix stuff, but apparently there is a legislation in the ACMA or Strata rulings where you ...

Re: Naked ADSL2 Line Sync gone missing

Thanks for the quick reply :) Well, here's another random question. I live in some units, on the ground floor directly above where I believe the building MDF terminates. Who's responsibility is it for the line between the MDF to the first wall socket in my unit? I would assume my service provider, a...

Naked ADSL2 Line Sync gone missing

Well, I had ADSL2 connection installed a almost 2 years ago with Exetel. It's been working fine for most of that time, some slowness and occasional auth drops happening but generally 99% uptime and good connectivity. I had a phone line with Exetel when I first signed up, but moved to a Naked connect...

Exetel membership page issues after moving to naked

I can't get access to the support ticket area, so I'm posting it here. About 2 weeks ago, I moved my service from ADSL2 & Phone to just naked ADSL2. I got an SMS from exetel about 10 days ago saying that my account has been cancelled, due to churn or service movement. My ADSL2 connection works fine,...
