Re: ADSL2 Plan Changes

hmm...still showing up the old plan on member's facility. Patience is a virtue you know. Plan changes are *processed* on the 1st day of each month, so you will need to wait until at least business hours. Why are you in such a desperate need to see some letters change on your plan anyway? Makes no d...

Re: ADSL2 Plan Changes

I just spoke to one of the exetel sales reps, she is telling me a totally different story...She tells me that, unlimited IS unlimited. Possibly semantics. Technically there is "no limit" but Exetel have a policy (and always have had such a policy) for dealing with people who abuse their quotas or th...

Re: ADSL2 Plan Changes

Ah...okay thanks for clarifying. How about offpeak? I assume, offpeak is unlimited? On these new plans, yes. But even then there is the general terms and conditions in your contract about "excessive usage". It states how "Exetel may suspend the Service at any time, without liability...if Exetel rea...

Re: ADSL2 Plan Changes

I thought this comment of ForumAdmin's was only a consideration and not yet ratified. Re-reading, it seems like it is slated for implementation. A lot of confusing posts here. I am confused as the next guy here. Say in a hypothetical scenario I reached the 50% peak allowance for the Z/22 plan;does ...

Say in a hypothetical scenario I reached the 50% peak allowance for the Z/22 plan;does that mean that, once, I have reached 50% of my bandwidth, peak period will get shaped to 512? Is that what the forumadmin is saying? :?: :?

Re: Unlimited ADSL2 Plans - Update

I've just noticed this weird thing in my options to change service: "Z/ULINCTEL++ $10.00 $95.00 mbytes Unlimited = No Limit $0.50 " You'll notice that in the column where it should say Peak unlimited it now just says "mbytes". Is this jut a glitch or has someone changed the details of the new plans...

Re: No limit = Unlimited

What Corey is trying to say is, you can download as much as you want provided you don't overdue it. The acceptance usage policy states that you shouldn't abuse the system. Like for example download 1TB every single month as Corey stated. Don't download in one hit. Although, its quite similar to that...

Re: No limit = Unlimited

I'm wondering if we can get any assurances though that it's not going to be further "restricted" such as the last time it went to unlimited, and then the change to the AUP came in. I doubt that any such assurances can be given; to do so would require clairvoyance. The terms and conditions have clau...

Re: Price Increase Of $5.00 per Month On All Old ADSL Plans

Comparing TPG Naked ADSL2+ 130GB to Exetel's Z/23NoTel, you have, on a 6 month contract: Price: TPG = $59.99 per month + $149.95 setup = $509.89 Exetel = $65 per month(*) + $60 setup = $450.00 You need to stay for 18 months for the TPG plan to break even with Exetel, which defeats the purpose of sh...

Re: Price Increase Of $5.00 per Month On All Old ADSL Plans

You guys just lost any competitive edge you had over your competitors. Care to elaborate? Competitors still have 24 month contracts in some cases, whereas Exetel have 6 month contracts on all ( edit: residential ) services (12 months for 8Mbps services and the new "loyalty" unlimited plans). To my ...

Horrible Speed issues(10am-12)

Dear gawd in heaven, the speed really dies at 10-12 for me. This has been a re-occurring event ever since April started. Any reason for the crap speed? I get only 100KB/s and I am on an ADSL2+ plan. This is http traffic.
