Re: Off Peak Periods

How about giving an option to users about off-peak: Option 1: Plan stays the same as it is. Option 2: Off-peak is extended to 12 hours BUT during this 12 hour period download speed will be limited on a minute-to-minute basis depending on the current load on your bandwidth. When demand for DL is high...

Re: Naked ADSL2+ ~ Very Slow last two days

There doesn't seem anything wrong with those sync stats. There have been reports of QLD / Brisbane based speed issues on these forums, so I'd suggest waiting until mid-week and logging a fault if it does not fix itself. Also, is there any pattern in the slow speeds. Particularly, how are your peak ...

WoW not working, http://games.exetel.com.au is not up either

The above website is down and it states on its only operating page "...also our wow proxy has crashed". I am posting this request here in the hopes that someone can help me as the games forum is not up. Some time ago I set up WoW so that it would run thru that proxy (similar to WoWtunnels I think). ...

Re: Moved house and upgraded to ADSL2+. Speed is too low

Give me a days notice, or email it to me with a link to this thread, to jasonm@exetel.com.au Easter break is coming up, but our Sri Lanka team will be available - emailing residentialsupport@exetel.com.au might get a faster response. Okay then, I will have everything unplugged tomorrow (Wednesday) ...

Re: Moved house and upgraded to ADSL2+. Speed is too low

Your problem will be the low upload speed. Have you reset and reconfigured the modem? Specifically, the TX gain should be left at default. Can you please confirm that, and once done, let me know when you can have Everything removed from every socket for a half or full day, the line is now also show...

Re: Moved house and upgraded to ADSL2+. Speed is too low

I have neither reset nor reconfigured the modem, everything is as it was out of the box except login details.

I will try turning the modem off and on if you like to reset the connection. Is that what you mean by 'reset'?

As for removing everything, I will try to find a time and let you know.

Re: Moved house and upgraded to ADSL2+. Speed is too low

A recap on the situation. The speeds seem fine but I have had some prolonged dropouts. Yesterday morning I was on the internet and it suddenly dropped out. I checked my DSL page and it said it was still connected but I could see that no data was getting through and my VOIP would not work either. My ...
