My speed change has already occurred, was a bit of a surprise when I woke up this morning! I submitted my request on the 15th (Sunday).

Re: ADSL2+ on Telstra Exchanges

Over the weekend we received close to 200 new/churn/current user transfer applications which was a remarkable number and ten times more than we had expected. Really? Consider that many of us have never had the possibility of a decent ADSL2 service.. I'm not surprised by those numbers, offer a good ...

Re: ADSL2+ on Telstra Exchanges

The new plans look excellent, have submitted my plan change request, looking forward to ADSL2 speeds! :D
Surely worth the sacrifice of my 12 hour off peak time.

Re: ADSL2+ on Telstra Exchanges

These new plans look fantastic!
Couple of q's.

How to I determine if I have ADSL2 on a Telstra exchange?
I'm currently an ADSL1 customer with Exetel, will there be a line activation charge? Or just $10 plan change charge?

Cheers

ADSL1 1500C plan, which Peak download amount is correct?

On this page: http://www.exetel.com.au/a_plan_pricing_new.php
the 1500C plan is listed as 60GB Peak

When I go into the Members section to change my plan however, the 1500C plan is listed as 50GB Peak.

Which is it please?

Re: CHanged plans, excess GB charge didn't change

Thanks for the information Ravenous, it would seem quite ridiculous to continue to charge $6 per GB when the new price is $0.50 per GB based on a now obsolete shaping charge.

I've contacted Exetel via email to get this sorted.

The 'shaping' excess charge on your customer profile.
Excuse my ignorance, but I can't even find this option.

I was probably shaped some time ago.

Remove what?

Email Exetel (as in log a ticket?)

Will I receive a refund of the amounts I have been overcharged?

CHanged plans, excess GB charge didn't change

I recently changed my plan to the FP-C2 ADSL1 plan. I note that this plan is supposed to have an excess GB charge of $0.50 per GB, however I have been charged $6 per GB over the last couple of months on this plan. When I log into my member area, it says this: Service Number: <removed> Plan Type: FP-...

Re: VOIP on FP-C2 plan (new to VOIP)

1. VoIP works well with 1500 ADSL1. So is it basically just a matter of selecting an appropriate plan, obtaining an ATA and away I go? Do the lines still need to be filtered with VOIP? 2. Something odd about a phone/ADSL conflict. Is the phone filtered now? (It should be) At the moment there is no ...

VOIP on FP-C2 plan (new to VOIP)

Hi all I'm interested in using an Exetel VOIP. I'm currently on the FP-C2 ADSL1 plan. Is VOIP available with this plan? I have issues with my current phone line (Telstra line) where if we try to make a call or receive one, the internet drops out. We did have filters connected. We haven't been using ...

Can not access http://blocked.exetel.com.au/usage.php

My account has been blocked due to usage. I am unable to access the unblock page however, and I can not email support as all my email is web based. How do I get my service unblocked?

Re: Issues setting up Zenphoto (server & config errors)

Never had any issues using Firefox with the FireFTP extension. Thanks for your suggestion, I had searched and come across that thread, however it is a bit too simplistic for what I am looking for. I think the easiest option may be for me to delete my webspace and start again, should I require it. Fo...

Re: Issues setting up Zenphoto (server & config errors)

Thanks for the info Dazzled. It appears as tho perhaps this hosting isn't suitable for Zenphoto. I will delete the directory. Do I need to do anything further in regards to the 500 Internal Server Error? Or will this disappear once the directory is removed? EDIT: it appears as tho I am unable to del...
