ADSL2+ Plans
Hear you are conducting a review of the optus/aapt resold plans. Just wanted to add a vote for putting defined limits on offpeak periods. I would love to see plans that look something like this. I don't think everybody from people paying $20 to those paying $55 should have the same access to off pea...

Re: Off Peak Plans/Restructure
so long as you are scheduling the majority of those downloads for underutilised periods like 2am-7:30am That is good to hear. I moved to one of the new plans so my uncounted is only done from 2am-8am. Quick question about the 50c/GB excess. I am on the OTA because some months we do very little with...

Fair use indicator
There seems to be a lot of confusion about what you can and can't do before you become an unprofitable customer. Any chance on getting some sort of indicator in the members facilities on your profitability status? It might give customers a chance to "clean up their act" as they approach the end of t...

Re: OTA not charged for excess
Yep that's what mine looks like. Well I certainly won't complain that I havn't been charged but I also won't complain if the charge turns up next month.

OTA not charged for excess
I moved to the OTA last month. I had full speed the whole month but wasn't charged for excess usage. When I went over the 10GB and kept full speed and got told by support that my account was set to excess @ 50c/GB I happily used lots of peak (knowning I would pay for it). I have just got my bill and...

Re: "No charge" download limit
Until there is an offical guide for no charge usage I will pretend I have a max of 80GB off peak and that should keep me out of trouble.

Re: "No charge" download limit
On my OTA plan while the plan information on the website says no charge my plan shows "unlimited" offpeak in the members facilities. I can only assume the new "No Charge" is the same as the old charge and reasonable use is considered to be 3xaverage usage so around 85GB? Is that correct? Because I k...

Re: Ticket No. 2774510 - Change Excess Peak Option
mine still says N/A under cost per GB and I still have 512k shaping pending, so not resolved for all of us. On the plus side, i went over my 10GB peak limit and have not been shaped so I must be 50c/GB in the system from my old Z plan.

Re: Change to plan OTA feedback
Just wanted to let you know that I have gone over my 10GB peak limit and have not been shaped. I am going to assume I am getting charged 50c/GB so that is excellent.

Re: Change to plan OTA feedback
I have noted to exetel that the web form for selecting 50c or shaping has a bug where both the name and value fields for both options are the same. So the effect is no matter what you select it will look to exetel like you selected shaping. They advised in live chat that it is with the devs. I have ...

Re: Just changed to OTA, Excess peak usage setting
I have sent an email begging them to let me give them 50c/GB this month and to not shape me. Will see what happens because the wife won't be happy if she gets shaped and her facebook is slow

Re: Just changed to OTA, Excess peak usage setting
How can I make a request to be shaped when the Default is shaped? Are you saying I have already made a request for 50c/gb

Just changed to OTA, Excess peak usage setting
I have just rolled over to the OTA plan and I desperately do not want to be shaped. Is it possible to turn on the 50c/GB excess this month. When I go to change the setting it says 07xxxxxxx 2010-06-01 07:51:16 PENDING Shaped to 512kbps and it won't let me set it to 50c/GB. Can anybody at exetel acti...

Re: ADSL2 Plan Changes
i am in complete agreement with scraping the unlimted off peak. Offpeak has become part of the industry and people kind of expect to see it. You can compensate by making your peak more much more attractive than your competitors. I think the 10 needs to become 15 the 30 need to be 40, the 60GB needs ...
