Re: Off Peak Period Change

To be honest I have always thought that the offpeak period was very generous. To those that are wailing about this being unfair I was well aware when i joined Exetel back in 2005 that the offpeak period was/is a bonus and as was stated then and has always been stated that it could be changed or remo...

Re: Exetel MoIP

Let us know the results I did as suggested the other day and when idle for 3 hours after making a call, used only .1 of a MB down and .11 of an MB up so issue did not repeat. However I did remove a couple of apps from the phone before I tried. One of which Fring was starting up automatically, the o...

Re: Exetel MoIP

I would look further for the cause of a 92Mb transfer...

Other observations:

- Calls don't appear to self-terminate when other end hangs up (unless I didn't wait long enough), potentially wasting VoIP resources for the VSP.

I have noticed this as well, wonder if this is connected in some way

Re: Exetel MoIP

Were the 92MB of uploads used in the time period you were making calls or when the app was idle? Looking at my usage for yesterday MoIP doesn't seem to have uploaded much at all.[/quote]

Re: Exetel MoIP

2. Can anyone comment on the power consumption if ExeMoIP is started on boot-up and left running continuously registered in the background? Tried this out over the weekend on an E63, I made some calls all good. Left the MOIP app running (not intensional) and noticed that about 7 hours later the phon...

Re: ADSL2 Unlimited Plans (For Exetel Users Only)

Like the idea, I have always had a high download allowance with Exetel and have only gone over my allowance once in 6 years. Currently have a 50cent per GB over allowance and that is probably enough however I do have in the back of my mind being charged 150 per GB (with another provider) so the idea...

VOIP over 3G

Not sure which section to post this in, this one or the VOIP section just after a bit of guidance. Have a WMA plan which I am using on a Nokia E63 EXESMS works fine Fring works when calling a PSTN no problems at all when I use Fring to call the VOIP service I have on my ADSL service (both Exetel) I ...
