Re: Exetel/Vodafone Services End On June 30th 2011
Although I agree with the previous posters views on the phone prices not being very competitive (especially when the cost of a plan + outright purchase is compared to a plan including subsidised handset from another carrier), we are still keen to stick with Exetel as it has been nothing but a pleasu...

Re: Exetel/Vodafone Services End On June 30th 2011
Can you specify the exact model handset? As a previous post mentioned, the Huawei IDEOS (U8150), IDEOS X5 (U8800), IDEOS X6 (U9000). The premium handsets like Samsung Galaxy S (i9000), Nexus S, Desire and Desire HD are another option. Plenty of midrange stuff like the Samsung Galaxy 5, LG Optimus O...

Re: Exetel/Vodafone Services End On June 30th 2011
Wha sort of handsets do you favour? Our preference would be for Android based handsets, as the various features have become invaluable to a small business. I suspect it would be very hard for Exetel to be competitive on these devices? They are typically expensive (admittedly retail prices), and the...

Re: Exetel/Vodafone Services End On June 30th 2011
Has Exetel ever considered offering handsets on their plans? We have 5 numbers on Vodafone which need to be changed, and wish to bring a 6th (currently with Optus, contract about to expire) and soon a 7th (also on an Optus contract). The trouble is they - as well as the existing users - want new pho...

Re: Exetel/Vodafone Services End On June 30th 2011
Looking to make the swap too, but need to know things like: (1) Is it a 12 month contract, or still month-to-month? (2) As mentioned, what are the charge rates? Are they the same as the other Optus business plans? I knew the Vodafone plans were too good to last :( Good trip while they were around th...

Re: Price Increases For Out Of Contract Customers
We're on the NF/23NOTEL plan, and are able to change to the OCV200 (etc) plans within the members section.... but theres a problem - we've got a "real" phone line already connected. We're not on a naked line. Are we able to move to the OCV200 plan, and port our existing number? Or does this plan ch...

Re: Price Increases For Out Of Contract Customers
If we port our number from our existing PSTN line to OCV200, is it able to be ported out again? As in, it is a genuine PSTN line provided by Optus - no TPG-style tricks of "its actually VOIP from the exchange to your house" style of home phone which always seems to cause problems with porting? And ...
