It appears there is nothing wrong with the Exetel service as it works fine through a softphone. I would suggest you to do a full factory reset to the modem and configure it back. Also you can go for a firmware upgrade on the modem. I have already done a firmware upgrade to the TP Link which resulte...

Could you confirm if the issue occurs if you de-register the numbers from the VoIP modems and try it using a softphone such as XLITE or ZOIPER? It was all working fine with the old modem.
What would cause just my VoIP able to ring my parents but no one can hear each other and when my parents call me all they get is an engaged sound?

Yep codec settings are the same on both modems and voice vad is also disabled on both modems.
Problem still exists

Im also interested in changing to the OP3 plan, as my current plan has finished and Im looking at renewing my plan with exetel and my parents plan as well (to OP1).
If an admin or rep could give us an idea of when these plans will be avaliable to current subscribers, that would be great.

i ended up getting a new modem as the netgear wireless modem kept on dropping out a problem with that particular modem.
So i upgraded to an all in one voip modem works perfectly now so much easier :)

im using a DG834GSG Netgear, but i think i will just upgrade to an all in one.
It will be a lot easier, but would still like to fix this in the meantime

ok i got it working it calls every time you ring on a mobile but doesnt work if you call on another Voip phone?
i can call the other voip phone but it cuts out after about 5 secs after answering
any idea why
