Re: Hacked by group called ChaosCC?

I have had 2 similar emails demanding I pay in bitcoin or they will release videos of me accessing porn sites which told me immediately it was BS. They actually had my details & a password that I used on a website which was hacked over 12 months ago so my email address & password was posted elsewher...

Thank you for your excellent service

Exetel always looks for the best solution to a customer's requests or needs. I asked about more suitable plans for FTTN & you contacted me quickly to discuss my options, you made the process of changing to the new plan easy with little effort on my behalf. This sort of service is why I have been wit...

50/20 Plan

Wondering if Exetel has any plans to provide a 50/20 plan for those of us who are trapped on FTTN & only have the option of NBN 12, 25 or 100 with you? Currently my maximum speed is 45 to 49MBits & it is unlikely to ever improve but to get that speed I have to pay for 100MBits with Exetel otherwise ...

Data Share SIM

I have a mobile sim & wondering if it is possible to get a Data Share SIM to be used in a different phone on the same account? I currently have an IPhone for mobile calls & have a spare Samsung phone which would be handy just for data without calls activated. It would allow my kids to play their gam...

No reply for billing enquiry

I sent an email on the 15th Jan requesting Exetel to investigate some suspicious activity on my VOIP but have not received a reply yet. It was in regards to international calls being charged to my account which I never made, can someone please read my email & reply to it letting me know what is bein...

VOIP Hacked?

There are some suspicious entries on my latest VOIP bill & I know I definitely did not make calls to a number located in Bosnia. I have gone through my logs on the phone & the modem which show I did not make those calls. I never make international calls & these were all to the same number one after ...

Vopi disconnects after 30 minutes

Wondering what causes my VOIP to drop out every half hour when I am on a call, it is very frustrating & hopefully there is a setting to correct it. I have an Exetel modem NF10WV which was set up before I received it so have not changed any settings in it.

Thank you for making the change to FTTN easy

There were a few frustrations to start with because we are reliant on the old copper lines in a gated community & had to get an NBN tech out to fix it. Once the tech guy sorted out the connection at the node box you made the set up process so easy by using remote access to the Exetel supplied modem....

Confused about FTTN speeds.

I signed up with you last night hoping to get the 100/40 plan for FTTN but I was told the max speed is 25/5 Mbps. I rang NBN today because they informed me recently that FTTN can reach speeds close to 100/40 & they don't understand why Exetel has told me the max speed is much lower. I would prefer t...

Equipment needed for FTTN?

NBN has informed me that I am now able to get FTTN so wondering what equipment is needed please. I currently have ADSL1 using a Netgear DGN2200v4 Router, obviously FTTN will require different equip but I can't find anywhere on Exetel's website that lists what is needed or what Exetel offers when you...
