Re: Monitoring ZTE H268A status using DSLStats program

I'm using default telnet port (23) as per screen shot/video. Could you advice, if your connection wired or wireless? I'd expect that telnet is allowed from wired LAN connection only. Have you checked that telnet port is not blocked by your local firewall. Do you use your modem as modem+router or in ...

Re: Monitoring ZTE H268A status using DSLStats program

Finally, when you have line issues, connection speed graph will be looking something like this:

And when no line issues, like this:

Monitoring ZTE H268A status using DSLStats program

While troubleshooting connection issues open-source program DSLStats can ce very handy. The program simply connect to the modem using telnet, issue cli command, and use results to draw graphs. The ZTE H268A modem/router supplied by Exetel is not on the list of supported models of the programs, howev...

Re: Changing IP address while switching plan

The primary occasion that IP address are essential is when you are running some sort of server. not my case (my modem supports DDNS) :) my current IP is used as a restriction for connection to overseas corporate network. if it changes I have to email admins and they will alter all my accesses to cv...

Re: Changing IP address while switching plan

Thanks for your answer.
It's a bit essential for me, so should I ask someone else to be 100% sure?

Changing IP address while switching plan

Now I'm on INC2DSLC plan.
The contract is expired a few days ago (2010-08-11), so I'm looking for a plan change.
I'd like to switch to OTB, however I have to know what will be with my current IP address.

So my question is:
Will I have the same IP address after switching from INC2DSLC to OTB?

Thanks.

It was sent to the people who have 'ticked the box' to be advised of plan changes. If you don't want...
