Re: Complicated Plan Changes

Thank you for your reply. But my mobile plan is out of contract. (Contract Period: No Additional Term) So presumably I could terminate the service without any penalty, couldn't I? Ah, I see. Exetel's M8 current plan has no contract, and no service activation cost. So you are correct in that you can...

Re: Complicated Plan Changes

I doubt it. If you switch to other providers, you will either incur a plan change fee, or a contract extension (which will naturally prevent you from porting back). From yours and Exetel's perspective, these plan change fees are incurred in order to prevent the commencement of a new contract. Thank...

Complicated Plan Changes

Currently, all my phone/internet services are provided by Exetel. For ADSL, I'm on the old OCV200/19 plan which includes a $19 Mobile BB components (Plan name: CAP-BUNDLE 19) and home phone, as well. For mobile I'm on CAP19. All plans are currently out of contract. I'm wondering if I switch ADSL pla...

The Mobile Z Plans in the Member's Site

Log in to the Members Facility > Manage Services > Wireless Broadband & Mobile > Mobile Change Plan > Select

Then in the listed Z plans, in column "New Usage(Upload + Download) per Mbyte", it says "$0.27500 up to 200 MB" for all plans. Typo?

Patch a new telephone wire?

Long story short. I've had enough trouble with the telephone wire in my unit. When it rained heavily for days the downstream SNR dropps from 15db to about 6db, making the stable connection virtually impossible. In the worst case senario, I cannot hear the voice clear enough to make a PSTN phone call...

Re: WebSMS, what the hell??

Thanks for the replay and the link!
It turned to be that EXETEL sent out the 'Account PIN' via SMS and billed me.......

I just hope EXETEL put a notice on the webpage of sending 'Account PIN', telling the customers that they will be charged.

Anyway, thank you very much for the link.

WebSMS Charge?

Hi, Just had a look into my last bill which says $70.07. I am on plan OCV200/19, and I noticed that I've been billed for 1 WebSMS. I know 7 cents is almost nothing but I have never used the WebSMS function. In fact, I event don't know there is such function in the Member's Facility. Is this a mistak...

Lost my voip number !

Hi, I applied for changing my plan from OND (Naked ADSL) to OCV200/19. Exetel said the VOIP number will be converted back to PSTN once the transfer is done. So far the PSTN line is not setup but yesterday the phone number is 'detatched' from my VoIP service. I cannot call the number from either my o...

Re: $3 Admin Fees on ADSL/ADSL2 plans

i mean since exetel increases the charge, should the user be given a chance to change to a lower cost plan to maintain the user's total spend - without incurring the $20 plan switching fee?

$3 Admin Fees on ADSL/ADSL2 plans

Re the email sent by Exetel to all ADSL/ADSL2 customers on 15 Sep 2010, I wonder whether it is possible for Exetel, as a compensation, to provide existing ADSL/ADSL2 customers a chance to change to another plan free of charge? ==========Original email============ Dear xxxx, Since Exetel began offeri...
