Re: Labrador, Gold Coast, QLD slow latency
awesome dazzled. you have really gone far and beyond to explain that. :) really appreciate it. so, iinet is having trouble? strange, i generally do get around 28-40 ping to those servers. usually around 35. Interesting that your ping jumps as soon as it hits iinet. I will monitor this tomorrow. Hope...

Re: Labrador, Gold Coast, QLD slow latency
sorry for being so vague, but I was really just wanting to know if there were known network issues for example routing issues to sydney ips. heres a few ips :P sorry for the post, just kills me on my only gaming night having lag on my favorite servers. (well 90% of TF2) gotta love refreshing one ser...

Labrador, Gold Coast, QLD slow latency
Im experiencing slow latency to all gaming servers within certain areas of Australia. Can't tell you where there located but theres definate lag between destinations.
Usually 30 ping, now 100-110.
Is there any word on network issues at the moment, and when they'll be sorted?
Thanks

Re: Increase In Off Peak Times For Some Plans
Maybe there could be a pool. For arguments sake lets say 30,000 people are allowed in the "popular" timeslot of 12-12. People can elect to go into that pool, but must wait for a current occupant to leave, either by them selecting another timeslot or, heaven forbid, they leave Exetel... Again, essen...

Re: Regional VoIP DID's
Any idea when more Gold Coast VOIP numbers will become available? Have been keeping my eye on it for the last 4 or 5 days but nothing added yet. So I would like to request
Thanks in advance!

Re: Naked users forgotten?
Im about to move house but I'm not sure what plan to sign up with at the new place. I am currently out of contact on the Z/21NOTEL (naked) plan ($53). This is unlimited offpeak 12-12 and 30gig peak. I was looking on exetels site yesterday and the $58 unlimited plan including line rental looked VERY ...

Re: more voip value packs
Would be good to see the voip meter to include mobile calls again, its hard to manage without it. I dont feel like adding up 30 days worth of mobile calls to see how many minutes ive used for the month.
why was it ever removed

Re: Offpeak speed slow
Can someone please look into my account and see if I am being throttled in anyway? At the moment I don't feel the reliability of my internet connection is fair. Some kind of thorttling is in place as when 12:00:01 comes speeds increase 10 fold. It is only the start of the month, I have downloaded le...

Re: more voip value packs
I've just noticed the new packs which I ordered last month aren't activated and still say "Next Billing Month". I removed the old $5 packs as swapped for the $10's but now that they're not working I don't have either :/
Anyone else having this trouble or am I the only one using it?

Re: Offpeak speed slow
Exetel has absolutely no influence with Optus, or any other provider for that matter, on how they provision their network. If you check the mrtg reports for your State/service type do you see any contention. If you don't then Exetel cannot do anything to address the problem you are experiencing. If...

Re: more voip value packs
The $10 denominations of calls to landlines and calls to mobiles should be available by the end of the week. We thought about combo packs (landline/mobiles) but realised you will be able to then order these yourselves to suit your calling patterns. For instance, you may take a $5.00 call to landlin...

Re: more voip value packs
I was reffering to the australia landline and australians mobile add-ons. Not international. VP1 and VP4. VP1 100 VoIP local national VoIP calls for $5.00 per month VP4 50 Minutes of VOIP Mobile calls for $5.00 per month And ExetelVoice, I can't see where to add multiples. Are you sure about this? I...

more voip value packs
I like the value packs on offer at the momemt for voip but I would like to see another pack for more calls/minutes. The $5 packs are good, but what about a $8, $10 or $15 add-on or even a combo of both. The main ones being local/aus calls and mobile calls. I'm finding that after about 20 days into t...

Re: Offpeak speed slow
It's sad to see, I had no idea exetel throttled and I thought I had unlimited off peak anyway? I always thought with my particual plan that if I went over my peak allowance I would be slowed. Am under 10gigs peak so far (I'm allowed 30gig). This month I've download well under 200gigs too. What way w...
