Re: Mobile Data Download Query
Hi, I have found a similar problem recently with my wife's phone on the cap19 plan. She has been on that plan for at least a couple of years and never been close to the 200mb limit. Suddenly last month she went over and this month she is already 40mb over. The majority of the time she is at home on ...

Optus booster box?
Hi, I live in an area whith difficult mobile reception. Outside my house is ok, but inside is next to impossible. I've seen an online group based in my area recently, and many of the members have rung Optus complaining of the reception. Optus sent them a "Booster Box" at no charge and has significan...

Re: Usage data did not reset at start of month
Hi, I have six exetel (optus) mobile services for for my family. Today (1st of the month) I have been receiving usage notifications for some of my services. I have checked my user facility and it seems my usage is still accumulating on last months data. My adsl service has reset as expected. Perhap...

That fixed it.Thanks!
I do recall now that's what it used be. I don't know why it would have changed!

No 3g on ipad after ios 5 update
Hi, I have had my ipad 1 on the WI E plan for over a year without a problem. Over the weekend I updated it to ios 5 and all seemed to be well until today when I tried to use 3g to access internet. I had previously only used it at home via wifi. I get the following error pop up when I try to access i...

Re: July Z* mobile specials
Hi, Just a couple of quick question that I'm sure I know the answers to, but just want to confirm before I move forward. I see that the z plans are now available through the members facility under the "change plan" section, however there is far less detail there than in the "order services" section....

Re: July Z* mobile specials
I know this has been answered before, but is there really no way to transfer an existing cap plan to a z plan. I have an adsl2 service, 6 mobile services and a mobile broadband service with exetel and would really like the extra data allowance that the z15 provides compared to my cap19. The call all...

Re: Tethering iPhone With Exetel
Wow, that's great! I've set mine up and it's working like a charm. I assume this is something relatively new? All this talk about having the correct apn, I assume my iPhone 4 would have the correct settings by default as they really can't be seen/edited?
Cheers

Re: Tethering iPhone With Exetel
It seems another Optus reseller is now offering iphone tethering inculded. Perhaps its time exetel revisited this issue with the wholesaler. If optus allow other resellers to have tethering, I see no reason why exetel can't? I'm sure many extel users would love to have this facility. Check out the F...
