Re: SMS API Sender Name

OK. I have rewritten the sub, and it is now working. I was not encoding the URL properly, and I suppose Exetel (properly) must have tightened up on that.

Re: SMS API Sender Name

Hi Kaushalya I actually have the below post in my outbox to PM you but I cannot work out how to get in the sent folder. So I will risk a public post! Regarding the forum post Sender Name rejected. I have had more support calls, and also I have fired my own up and tried. All are failing with the same...

SMS API Sender Name

I have a desktop app, with quite a few clients (10 or so) that contains SMS using Exetels API. (So they are Exetels customers rather than me) . I have just had a call saying the Sender name is being rejected, on all computers at once. The Sender Name is legal - no spaces, under 11 characters. Is the...

Re: International to International

They of course would have to open their own account with Exetel. It does not matter where I live. I actually live in Australia, ...

VB.NET Code to POST SMS API

A bit spammy to post two new topics together, but as this is a help topic (rather than a request for help) I think I am OK. Imports System.IO Imports System.Net Imports System.Web Public Sub ExetelSMS(ByVal strNumber As String, ByVal strbody As String, ByVal strusername As String, _ ByVal strpasswor...

International to International

I am building an application. It requires users to have an Exetel account if they want to use its SMS facilities. It is working well (Exetel should thank me :) ) So three questions. Is it possible or do you need to be in Australia? Is it a reasonable thing (in cost) to have a US user sign up to an E...

Code for POST VBA

As i cant find any example code on this site, I thought I would put some up for comment. This code sends a Exetel SMS message - it needs to be very slightly adapted to send bulk messages etc etc. It uses late biding so no need to reference anything. This is VBA and can be used in Access, Excel etc. ...
