Hi,

It appears Berkeley Vale POI was on one of the 37 fibres they repaired between the 11:30am and 4:20pm updates.

Re: Related to Outage : Unplanned Fibre Network Outage - All Suburbs, NSW

Hi,

It appears that services in the Berkeley Vale area came back up 15 minutes ago.

I doubt thy'd have repaired all the cut fibres as yet, but at least the're repaired the fibre servicing that area.

Re: NBN VoIP with failover to 4g?

Hi, Given our dependence on Internet connectivity these days it would be great if Exetel could offered it's fixed line internet customers with a 4G backup data service which could be used when fixed line connections went down. Maybe this could be offered for a small yearly or monthly service free wh...

Re: Related to Outage : Unplanned Fibre Network Outage - All Suburbs, NSW

Hi, I think the outage issue affecting NSW users might be less widespread than reported. My Exetel NBN service at the office (Tuggerah) went down at precisely the time of the outage began, but my Exetel NBN connection at home (Kariong) is still working fine as is the Exetel NBN connection at my pare...

Re: Poor NBN download speeds in Kariong

Hi, My modem was reporting the line had been up for some 40+ days when I looked a things before reporting the issue. The issue was still ongoing at 3:00am when I finished working and called it a night. This morning the connection was down and took quite a while to come back up even after rebooting t...

Poor NBN download speeds in Kariong

Hi, Is there a reason a reason download speeds on the NBN in Kariong are so bad at the moment? I usually get download speeds of about 75Mbps when testing against Exetel's Speedtest server but today I'm getting less than 10Mbps. Here is a screenshot of my most recent speedtest. 2019-03-23.png Les

Re: Issues with VoIP Services

Hi,

It appears the issue might now be resolved as we are now able to make and receive calls. The outage appeared to be about 30 minutes based on our PBX logs as we first started getting SIP Trunk errors at 11:55.

Forum's SSL Certificate not compatible with Chrome 66

Hi,

Chrome 66 reports that the SSL Certificate for the Forum isn't trusted as they've revoked support for old Symantec certificates.

Can someone get the admins to get your certificate re-issued by Symantec and deployed to the forum?

Re: The Exetel 6-year club

Hi, Thanks for merging the new account into my old account. I appreciate that. It appears I've lost access to the invoices issued under the new account. Can those invoices be linked to the old account. I also have an issue with the SMS and FAX over Web services. I had previously de-registred my e-ma...

Re: The Exetel 6-year club

Hi,

I'm now in my 15th year as an Exetel customer.

This week I upgraded my service from ADSL to NBN FTTN and as part of the upgrade I was assigned a new account.

Is the Pioneer discount applicable to NBN services?

Can it be transferred from my ADSL account to my NBN account?

Re: Routes to Singapore

Hi,

The issue appears top have resolved itself as the download speeds yesterday (Monday) were back to normal.

I would still be interested to know what the issue was as it still appeared to be a link issue to me.
