Re: Netcomm NF4V .. How to configure for phone over NBN (FTT

PDF link was sent in the email from Exetel support http://www.exetel.com.au/files/VOIP_Setup.pdf I then received another email from Exetel Provisioning with links to a web page and a PDF that do not exist - just redirected back to the home page http://www.exetel.com.au/voip_setup.php http://www.exet...

Re: More FTTN Transition Questions

Update for anyone interested - I am now fully NBN activated with VOIP service. I was quoted approximately 20-25 days for activation, but it was done in less than 10 days. I was quoted 3-5 days after activation for my land line to be ported to my VOIP service and it was done in 1 day. Details of the ...

Re: Netcomm NF4V .. How to configure for phone over NBN (FTT

It is excellent that the document I was sent was for the Netcomm V100, not the NF4V as supplied by Exetel. What is even better is that the details in that document say that the SIP Proxy = 202.177.222.24 (*** Aussie sarcasm inserted ***) In the body of the email I was sent, it said that for a softph...

More FTTN Transition Questions

Hi all So I've got my little postcard in the mail from NBN Co telling me I can get NBN now. I've also got plenty of junk mail from the usual suspects about signing up for NBN with them. As an Exetel customer of more than 5 years, I have not seen anything yet from my ISP. Also when I go into My Exete...

Connection speeds regularly dropping to below dialup

Supposed to be on an ADSL2+ connection. TCV20-200 In the last week my connection speed has been very bad, regularly dropping so slow that I can't run the speed test to tell you how slow. When I do get a response I have got speeds as low as 13 kbps. The highest I have got is around 600 kbps but more ...

Re: Should I be calling someone yet?

The confirmation e-mail I received said -
Any change you make will come in to effect within one working day at the earliest and up to five days (depending on Telstra Wholesale's work load).

Re: Should I be calling someone yet?

So why does it say "sent to Telstra on" which would indicate the hold-up is with Telstra not doing their bit.

Should I be calling someone yet?

Raised my request to change from ADSL1 to Telstra ADSL2 on 1st Sept. The change page says it was sent to Telstra on that day and my application is PENDING. Today is the 10th. Sure there was a weekend in there, but we are already up to 7 working days today. I am so sick of my 1.5M connection. Please ...
