Re: New Line Setup for Naked ADSL2+ Plan?

Thanks for the link :) You are 2788 m from GNGE as the crow flies. Estimated cable length of 3485 m. Estimated speed of 3500 Were not to far away from the exchange, some of our neighbors have broadband we were just unfortunate to get placed on a pair gain module. My only hope would be to ring Telstr...

New Line Setup for Naked ADSL2+ Plan?

We had our phone-line disconnected as we went on a Virgin Broadband @ Home plan way back when the deal started. I must admit that was our worst choice ever and we've have been stuck with it for quite sometime. We've been rejected by multiple internet companies because we no longer have a phone line ...

A full installation fee $60 + a new 12 month contract.
Not entirely sure, would need someone to confirm.
But from what I can see it will be an entire new plan separate from other Naked DSL plans.

Re: Naked users forgotten?

100gb of data is way too much for me as well. Is there anything for guys wanting a cheaper plan? I read earlier that it costs Exetel the same whether they offer 25gb or 100gb! So the likelihood of a cheaper plan is unlikely unless they make a cheaper plan without free calls and any other extras and...

Re: Naked users forgotten?

As I tried to explain - Optus is charged by Telstra for a ULL service that has both PSTN and ADSL capability (unlike SSS which only has ADSL). So whether you are providing PSTN capability or not the cost of the line is the same. To 'cripple' the ULL line so there is no dial tone actually costs mone...

"Naked" ADSL2+ Plans, Data Increase?

I noticed most of your plans have been upgraded to include more data but "Naked" ADSL2+ Plans seems to remain with low data transfer. I was expecting the 10gb plan to increase to 30 or 50gb like the other plans. Just curious if there are any plans to increase this limitation. A friend of mine is int...

Re: Off Peak Periods

Would this cover existing users, for example I'm on the plan that goes from 2am to 8am. I reckon it would be handy if it started at 12am instead so I could fit in some youtube before I go to sleep 8) & maybe an option for early risers 4am to 10am. Or just 12am to 10am but four extra hours might cost...

Re: Noise on the Phone line?

I actually have the same problem with Telstra, linespeed I get is about 300 kilobytes a second which I believe is normal from my distance from the exchange (3800m crow flys). My phone line has this persistent whistle an earthing type noise, I've also herd crackles and the neighbors talking on their ...

Hello, Just got a new account with Exetel. I'm having lots of internet troubles. Just called and was asked the put in DNS settings, I updated these and restarted my computer and internet still isn't working properly :( . All I can get at the moment is exetel's website. Not quite sure why I can visit...
