Re: UDP Throttling

dead sick of this the reason you need to investigate on a seperate basis is to know who's using what and unblock common ports used by these programs. you've blacklisted every port and no one can do anything right now you know you're throttling udp packets so hard the entire protocol is blocked just ...

Voip Password. What the hell?

I just ported my old pstn to a voip service. I can access the user facilities using the name/pass supplied in exetel's email. The password in that email doesn't allow me to authenticate to the sip server. Apparently its a different password to the user facilities one. I've looked at every single pag...

Re: Odd Connection on startup

Some more information: Briefly researched "antivirus 2010" and followed suggestions to use a seperate scanner. The free version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, which found several entries and successfully removed them. On startup I'm no longer seeing the suspicious connection to that Ukrainian dns se...

Re: Odd Connection on startup

No results from av scan or spybots. A port scan from grc.com shows all my ports are stealthed except for web https and legitimate listening ports. Still I can't figure out how the connection is being initiated, nothing suspicious on startup, no suspicious services (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentC...

Odd Connection on startup

Every time i start my computer it creates two connections to 188.72.244.195. The local ports are somewhere between 1000-1100 and the remote port is 53, so it seems like my computer is doing a dns lookup on that server. I can't figure out what program is initiating the connection. The program im usin...
