Change the incoming mail server setting to this shown below and see how it goes.
Everything is working for me now without the certificate error.

Hi All,

Thanks to bodogbodog for providing the settings below. I'm up and running again albeit with the same Certificate error he is experiencing each time Outlook is launched.

No that doesn't work either. It gives an encryption method error. It appears as though you are just getting me to try random options. Hi nilushid,

Unfortunatley MD5 is not an option.

If I transpose the settings I use for Outlook 2007 into Outlook 2019, it fails immediately indicating an issue with the Outgoing SMTP connection but in doing so the account setup cannot be completed. So something is being lost in translation or Outlook 2019 behaves diferently when it connects to the...

Well you're definitley doing better than me at present.
I'm very interested to know what settings you use.

For Outlook 2007 I use the following with no issues.

Hi bodogbodog, Are you saying that you can actually get it to connect to the mail server but you get error messages that you need to acknowledge first before your emails come through? I have imported my outlook.pst file from my old Outlook 2007 into Outlook 2019 so I can see all of my old emails but...

Was this successfully fixed for other users? I also have the same problem after upgrading from Outlook 2007 to Outlook 2019. I have already emailed Technical Support and received this response below but the Wiki has old information and only goes up to Outlook 2010 which was superseded many years ago...

This problem still exists for me (Newcastle) with extremely poor 0.8Mbps down and 15.6Mbps up on the Exetel Speed Test. Fault ticket logged on Wednesday #15651610# but no other correspondence since. 46th in the support queue & a 78 minute wait when I called last night to get an update so gave up on ...
