no dial/connection support #4917684

Since heavy rain I had problems with noise on line. I contacted support and was told that line test showed it was ok. I checked exterior connection to house and found it had no cover. I checked wires to see if I could see any problem and then pushed them back into holder. From that time no dial tone...

Re: Is there a flagfall on National/Mobile calls now?

Obviously there were some glitches due to the number of changes that happened during the month. However all is right with the billing. Nil flagfall, Nil cost for local and national. Nil cost for calls to optus mobile. 30c per 1300 call. OCV200 is a great plan glad I qualified to be on it.

Re: Price Increase For Out Of Contract Customers - Continued

On completing the application my recolection is that it mentioned minutes as the time of being off line for telephone and adsl in the change over. Hmmm. It shouldn't have said that. AAPT provided services, like 'BYO line' have always been subject to 2-3 weeks downtime when changing to Optus-provide...

Re: Price Increase For Out Of Contract Customers - Continued

I have been on a byo plan for some time. Line with Telstra. This was because I previously had difficulty changing over. I have applied for the ocv200 plan which looks excellent value. On completing the application my recolection is that it mentioned minutes as the time of being off line for telephon...

Re: Price Increase For Out Of Contract Customers - Continued

The A* plans are with AAPT equipment (DSLAM [1]) at the exchange, the O* plans are with an Optus DSLAM, the T* plans use a Telstra DSLAM. All DSL services options rely on which equipment is available at YOUR exchange. Those wanting the OCV plans _must_ have an Optus DSLAM at their exchange, those wa...
