Also See Re: Planned Fixed Wireless Network Outage - Coffs Harbour, and Surrounding Suburbs, NSW. Not really planned when there are no advanced notices. This "maintenance" has now been extended until 20August2019....go figure.

Re: Third outage in 6 days
This must be part of the whole NBN process of increasing their capacity at large. Hopefully when the upgrades are commissioned, we will get the service that we are paying for. Meanwhile, I am incurring over capacity charges from Exetel due to my frequent and significant reliance on my "hot spot" use...

Re: Remote Administration of NB16WV-02
Thank you. I have pursued the Telnet option to contact my modem from outside my LAN by adding TELNET to my windows features - it was successful to this point. I also enabled a port forward - TELNET (23) port forqwarding menu of the Netcomm modem to IP 192.168.1.1. The result was as follows invoking ...

Re: Remote Administration of NB16WV-02
Yes, thank you again for the very good advice. I had (in fact) already changed the User Name and inserted an 8 character password with alpha-numeric and mixed caps etc. (probably represents a "good" only level of security). The Netcomm modem only offers the 8 digits of password otherwise I would hav...

Remote Administration of NB16WV-02
Hello, I found the below instruction in the Netcomm Manual but I'm not sure it applies to what I want to do. Option Remote Administrator Host/Port Definition Normally only Intranet users can browse the built-in web pages to perform administration tasks. This feature enables you to perform administra...

Re: External access to my Exetel IP address
ISSUE RESOLVED AND THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THE GREAT SUPPORT. With a strong signal to my phone, I tethered to my Notebook, opened IE Browser, entered my EXETEL IP address as http://117.70.92.xxx/login.html and up came the Client login menu at Port 9000. What a nice surprise! I also logged into a Free Wi...

Re: External access to my Exetel IP address
Thank you again for the insights (now I understand that the device is using Boa and have done a bit of research about that. I will try to access from outside my LAN today using the MS Explorer browser since it provides access through Activ X on the LAN. Meanwhile I would love to be able to get the F...

Re: External access to my Exetel IP address
Thank you Dazzled, you are doing better than me with this. I am not sure why you went to the Boa server, but, that aside, I take it that the response from http 1.1 200 was actually from 192.168...200 and only shortformed for security? I loaded up Opera and tried to get Konquerer running but it was t...

Re: External access to my Exetel IP address
Thank you Shamin and Dazzled. I looked at these tools but I am a novice meaning that I only have a Windows based machine and MS Explorer browser. Shamin mentioned that when I key in the http instruction 115.70.92.XXX that it is "...Apparently http://115.70.92.xxx:80 is resolving to http://115.70.92....

External access to my Exetel IP address
Hi, I have just installed an NVR for security monitoring. The LAN access from any computer on the LAN is fine through Explorer/Activ X at 192.168.20.xxx. Port forwarding has been set up in the Netcomm NB16VW-02 and verified with www.canyouseeme.org - success on Port 80 and Port 9000 at my Exetel IP ...

Re: Failed Upgrades due to Telstra Line
Thank you for the replies, I went back to Provisioning (1300788141-option 2) and was very co-operative and informative (Special thanks to Paul). The matter has now been escalated and it was found that there were issues around 'out-of-date' information re my Telstra facilities, as I understand it. Ac...

Failed Upgrades due to Telstra Line
I have a very stable 1.5Meg ADSL1 service with VOIP. After waiting since 22 January, I got a message today with Subject: Your ADSL Service Has Been Updated, however, the message said that the "ugrade has failed due to technical reasons...my line speed would remain the same". After several calls I wa...
