Edit: Your other thread mentions an NB6Plus4Wn, with only one WAN port.

Re: Share the line rate

OK. So two phone numbers, and two routers. One set via TPG and the other via Exetel. Two phones numbers in one house is identical to two neighbouring houses: There should be no reason why having one connected should impact the other's speed in any way as they are completely independent modems, phon...

Re: Share the line rate

I don't know of any way that you can possibly access two ISPs on one phone line. Something else must be going on here. If you do not get a response via your ticket, you might want to explain yourself a little more: Do you only have one phone line? If so, are you using one modem with TPG login detai...

Share the line rate

My ticket number is #4480605#

I have found my problem of slow speed. It is that I have 2 provider TPG and Exetel, and if I use only one Modem, the Line rate is 10000KB+ , and if I use both, the line rate of TPG is about 6800KB and Exetel is about 3400 KB... Why they shared line rate?

Re: Slow speed!

Thanks for trying, as it rules out a real possibility. Try to stay with the short cord if you can, and use a long ethernet cable to reach your computers. Unlike phone cable, these are laid out internally to minimise interference. I have used the short cord, but it is still slow. I have checked the ...

Re: Slow speed!

10 metres is extremely long for an unshielded cable, which might be picking up interference from your home's electrical equipment. This could be seen as noise on the line, or perhaps as packet errors requiring a retransmission of the data. It would be better to use a short cord, and use a long ethe...
