Pro-rata when porting mobile away from exetel?

What happens to the last month if I port away from exetel? Do I pay the full month and have access to full usage? Or am I only charged for the month up until I port, but given a pro-rated usage? If the latter, what happens if usage was within the total monthly limit, but over the adjusted usage for ...

Moving House Problems

This is becoming a bit of a nightmare, and need some clarification. I've been a member of exetel for a rather long time. Currently have two connections at two different locations. I'm moving house (on Monday 20th July) within the same suburb but when I selected the "moving home" link in my user faci...

Re: Past usage for mobile?

Found it - it was on invoices after all, but what confused me was the mobile usage has been recorded on separate $0 invoices, while the mobile charges are combined in a single invoice with internet. Cheers!

Re: Past usage for mobile?

Thanks, but I already tried that and it doesn't show a detailed breakdown unless I've gone over quota.

Given the coming changes, I'm interested in seeing my actual usage history, even when below quota (particularly data) so I can make an informed decision regarding future plans.

Past usage for mobile?

Is there any way for me to search past mobile usage? I can only see this month/last month links, but not further. I thought I could do this on the old site, but maybe I'm mixing it with internet usage.

Redirect? Virtual Phone Number? Voicemail? Something else?

I have both my mobile and ADSL with exetel. I run a small business and have used just the mobile as a contact for a while now, thinking most people are ok calling mobiles, but I've been thinking this and considering ways to provide either a landline ... but I don't want to miss calls and am at a los...

Re: Intermittent Web Browsing Problem

It might be a little premature, but I'm prepared to go out on a limb and say that that fixed it. Thanks! Prior to the change, I tested by opening 20 tabs several times and without fail every time 1 or 2 would fail to load. Post change and I've tested 120+ tabs with 0 failures. Funny that I didn't ev...

Re: Intermittent Web Browsing Problem

Thanks for the reply. OS is Windows 7 Yeah I used to set DNS myself but have let the modem sort it out with "Obtain DNS Automatically" for the last few years or so with no issue. Just had a look and it's currently showing primary DNS 58.96.1.28 and secondary 220.233.0.3 Interestingly enough I called...

Intermittent Web Browsing Problem

Problem has been around a month or so. Often (perhaps 5-10% of the time) when I initially visit a website, I get a website not found message. Hit refresh and it will usually work. Sometimes needs a few extra refreshes. There's no pattern to which sites work first go or not. Problem exists in chrome ...

Re: Cannot access my website through Exetel

Thanks for the replies. One of my students confirmed tonight that he couldn't access my site via his non-exetel ISP, so it's quite clear that the problem isn't limited to exetel (which I thought quite odd to begin with!) As far as I can tell, this means the issue must either with my webhost and/or m...

Re: Cannot access my website through Exetel

It seems now the problem is only with the home page: http://www.hwca.com.au

All other pages I've tried work fine: http://www.hwca.com.au/free-trial/

Once on the site, all other links work fine - except links to the home page.

Cannot access my website through Exetel

I cannot access my website: http://www.hwca.com.au Can't access cpanel. Or the backend of the wordpress installation. Was all fine last night. I've reset my modem (soft & hard), also flushed DNS cache, no change. I contacted my website host and they can see it fine. I can access my site fine via my ...

Incoming Calls issue. ADSL2 & Outgoing are fine.

Recent problem (a few weeks, I think) with incoming calls on my OP3 plan. Outgoing and ADSL2 are fine. I'm not there to check things myself, but this is what I've been told so far: Kitchen phone rings once or twice & if I am right there & answer someone is on the line. Same with old & new phone. I d...

Moving house - new plan

Moving house soon. Starting a new connection - old one will continue as is at the current address. I'm not sure how things work these days. Previously, I've always either been the first tenant to move into a brand new property, or the property was already vacant when I signed the lease. This time, t...

Re: Suddenly very slow ADSL2

Still horribly slow

297 / 5151 kbps

Never had any problems over 18 months with the previous ISP - tyically connected around 20000

Always been at least 15000 with exetel except for these two problems.
