Re: Relocation woes
Are the daily sms messages stating yet again that I have no service and nothing will be done until the 19/7 some sort of punishment for questioning the process?

Re: Relocation woes
After a thoroughly pointless phone call from steve which just restated everything all over again I have informed the TIO - this is not good enough.

Re: Relocation woes
Hi, Kindly note that I have asked these questions through email, phone and this forum and have yet to receive a satisfactory answer to most of my questions. I just received another sms stating I should get in contact after the 19/7 if it is not working. How is this satisfactory for a process that is...

Re: Relocation woes
I'd love to give exetel the benefit of the doubt and have done so for the past 8+ years but this is getting painful. I was told by tech support on the phone that nothing could be done on the weekend due to provisioning and optus not being around. Today provisioning take over 5 hours to decide the em...

Re: Relocation woes
So now optus say 3 more weeks. Nobody on the phone can tell me how i go about cancelling this farce of a relocation. So much for loyalty - get me off this ship.

Relocation woes
Who is responsible for relocations? Is it provisioning or tech support? Tech support say provisioning, provisioning say tech support and I've been bouncing around listening to hold music for half an hour trying to sort it out. Relocation was promised in 8-10 days. Telstra technician came on day 12 a...

Mobile plan change fees
Why is it that for one of my mobile services it costs $25 to downgrade the service and $0 to upgrade while the other one costs $50 to downgrade and $25 to upgrade?
Seems to be cheaper to churn away with a $2 sim, then churn back.

Re: Websites innaccesible tonight?
Just want to see if anyone else is unable to contact popular websites like penny-arcade, twitch.tv and the like tonight, since I seem to be able to reach some sites and not others Im thinking a netsplit has occured. I am curious though if its just me. There seems to be quite a few sites which load ...

Re: VPN via exetel
I know I had trouble with VPN when my Netgear router was identifying VPN traffic as an attempted DDOS and so was dropping most of the packets. Once I turned off DDOS protection everything ran smoothly.
Don't know if that applies in this situation though.

Re: New 'Standard' Wireless Broadband Plans
Presumably optus have disabled the ability to use an iPhone as a modem on these plans as well?

Re: The Exetel 6-year club
From March 1st 2011 a $5.00 discount on plan charges per month will be applied to all customers who joined Exetel before 31st December 2004. Customers who already receive a Pioneer Discount will not receive this $5.00 discount I've noticed a for a few members that their initial connection date was ...

Re: New Bundled ADSL/Wire Line/Mobile Plans
the story so far: - Applied for a change to Special2 through the Members Facilities. Also applied for Cap19 for my wife's phone. - Got confirmation email for the mobile portion as an HSPA plan 'CAP-SPECIAL 2' and Cap19 for my wife. - Sent email wondering why there was no confirmation of the ADSL por...

Re: New Bundled ADSL/Wire Line/Mobile Plans
Whatever these plans are meant to be, they're not much use if you can't sign up and the people on the provisioning email box don't know what's going on or just don't bother to answer emails. Currently on the phone to 'provisioning' having given up on the recommended email option and getting yet anot...
