Is there a bug in the usage meter today?
I'm on a plan with an unlimited quota during offpeak hours - 1:00am to 9:00am. An email arrived at 9:35am stating that I had used 107% of my monthly peak quota. That's up from less than 40% yesterday. When I checked the Usage Meter in Members Facilities, I see that all the usage for today's offpeak ...

Thanks for getting it fixed. Appears to be working OK now.

Re: Usage meter showing zeo
Yes I have downloaded quite a bit today. I also restarted the modem at least twice and deleted the cookies on the browser. Can't think of anything else to try. The problem seemed to start yesterday afternoon when the "Updated at..." became stuck on 15:57 I think it was. Then logging in to the Member...

Usage meter showing zeo
My Usage meter has been showing zero all day. I see others reported the same thing on Whirlpool earlier today but most said it has been fixed soon after and is working correctly.
Do I have to do something to get it working or is there still a problem?

No time stamp on new usage meter?
I can't find a time stamp on the new ADSL usage meter in the new Member Facilities. A time stamp is essential - especially on the last day of the month when you may be close to your plan's limit. On the old Members' Facilities site, there was a time stamp on the home page. It wasn't always accurate ...

Re: New ADSL2+ plans for existing customers
James, It might help current customers understand this situation if you explain the reasons behind this policy. I started looking for a new ISP then came across the thread on Whirlpool talking about the new plans. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have known these new plans were coming and gone else...

Re: VoIP Plan decommissioning
By "$0/mth minimum charge" I meant there's no minimum charge you have to pay each month as with the new Exetel arrangements. It works like this. You prepay whatever amount you like into your account. You are only charged for the cost of calls - there's no fee for having the service available. The co...

Re: VoIP Plan decommissioning
I didn't know about the calling card service but it's no good for regional areas as the local call access numbers are only in the capital cities. Pennytel have a prepaid service for $0/mth minimum charge which does the job. Could Exetel create their own version of this perhaps for those that want $0...

Re: Separate forum for new plan discussions
That’s a good start CoreyPlover. Here’s a few suggestions to finish it off. “About Exetel” is a bit too broad for the first category. What’s missing from this Board is a clearly labelled place to discuss plans, offers, changing plans and all the issues that arise in these areas. It’s about what you ...

Re: Separate forum for new plan discussions
I agree ADSL1 and ADSL2 have a fair amount of overlap and could be combined. Others may have a different view on this. Also I see plan change topics in both those forums. Topics from “ Mirror services ” could be moved to “Other” in the “Technical Assistance” category with a change to the “Other” des...

Re: Separate forum for new plan discussions
CoreyPlover, this isn't a direct reply to your post. It just occurred to me when I looked at the Board Index again. If you look at the existing forum categories, they are pretty good except there’s no sales category – it’s all service, technical and admin. This is a serious omission in my opinion. P...

Re: Separate forum for new plan discussions
In the interest of keeping the number of separate forum topics to a minimum... I don't see why there is a great a need to keep the number of forums to a minimum. Surely the main objective here is clear communication - make it easy for customers to find stuff, encourage people to air their issues an...

Separate forum for new plan discussions
Just wanted to suggest that a separate forum be created for discussion about the latest plans and all issues associated with changing to the latest plans. Currently these topics are spread out all over the place - they're hard to find and messy to track because discussion is happening in multiple lo...

Re: New Plans not showing correct amount on Submit page
That's now been fixed - thank you. After pressing the "Submit" button, it shows a page of information confirming the plan change. In my case, I didn't choose to tranfer the telephone line to Exetel, but the confirmation page shows a section headed "Telephone Charges" with details of costs as though ...

New Plans not showing correct amount on Submit page
Just tried to change to the new T1.5-100 plan which appears like this on the initial offer page in Members' Facilities. http://home.exetel.com.au/davo//plans/2011-05-25-T1-5-100-fees-1.PNG But when you select it and progress through to the "Submit" page, the Monthly ADSL Access Charge now shows as $...
