Re: Slow speeds on weekend mornings

Same for me. As soon as it hits 12:01pm my speeds increase from 50KB/s to around 800KB/s on the same download.

Re: Authentication speed

I have noticed this too. When I was with IINet it used to only take about 30secs after line sync to authenticate but with Exetel it usually takes a good few minutes.

Re: New ADSL1 And ADSL2Plans

Im currently on plan INCPHONE D Do current users automatically get the increased quota? If so does it start this month or next month? Thanks, Nathan They only apply to current plans. Re: New ADSL1 And ADSL2Plans

[quote="($30 for the ADSL2 and $25 for the telephone line rental) inc telephone plan with no off peak downloads. This would be excellent as long as the main download started around 2GB, This is what I'm finding a lot of people are wanting. This plan will be added shortly together with increased dow...

Optus ADSL2 Dead

I'm unable to authenticate and looking at the MRTG graphs there is something wrong as there has been no traffic on the Optus link for over 30mins.

I manage a network with 300+ users and have really seen spam increase over the last year. We are currently stopping in excess of 350000 spam emails a week which equates to over a 1000 spam messages a week per user.

If your company is blocking logmein.com then I can guarantee that they are blocking VNC and RDP. One option you have is to use the web based version of remote desktop which will allow you to access remote desktop just like its a normal website. You are going to need to use a common internet port whi...

This is why I suggested logmein.com as it is so simple to use and doesn't require any special port forwarding etc. Much easier to set up then vnc.

I don't know what the others have against this software but I have found it to be really good.

No problem with the change in off peak as we have never gone over our off peak usage however you said you are reminding us about this change when we have never seen any mention of the change before.

Will the off peak change also affect Optus ADSL2 users?
