Both Exetel's Smtp servers were blacklisted on a number of sites including Spamcop, according to Exetel the problem was fixed on Tuesday. A quick check shows still listed on 2 sites however may be false positives as I just ran test sent & received successfully

Re: Please Use This Thread To Advise Exetel Of Typos/Errors
Have the affected customers been advised of this error?
If not they should be, I have already had 2 queries from my customers neither of whom were any where near their usage! Neither has received message advising that the first message was an error!

Re: Moving from one plan to another.
Wayne The OPx plans are on Optus infrastructure, you are currently on Telstra Wholesale infrastructure. You need to do a check to see if your exchange is enabled for Optus, the easiest way to do this is from the Exetel main website, try to order an Optus plan and put your phone number in the box, I ...

Re: What plan to select - ADSL1 to ADSL2??
Kindly note that Optus infrastructure is not available but Telstra ADSL2 and AAPT infrastructure are available. Please log in to your members area to apply for a plan change or contact residentialsales@exetel.com.au I do not believe AAPT infrastructure is activated in Port Macquarie. Check for your...

Why renew your contract?I am set to renew it for another twelve months
Don't do anything and you just continue on a month to month basis and do not incurr a break fe if and when you move to NBN.

If you still have access to your old modem you can copy the settings from that to the new one, go to Advanced/Configuration/System/BackupRestore on old modem save the fille to your desktop, go to the ame place on the new modem and restore the file.

Re: Included calls in current VoIP plans
shinryoku My undrstanding is that there is no change to the accounting of 13/1300 calls - they have always been charged at 30 cents per call, there is no change with the RVplans. Tip; Bo to the firms website and look for their international no, usually listed as +610xxxxxxx or try whitepages.com.au ...

Re: VoIP Changes
Thanks for the clarification. Another question re VPx packs and I guess the international ones as well. If customer does not manually change his paln prior to 15 Apr what if any of the call usage generated under one or more of these packs will be taken into account when calculating the new RVx plan?
