Currently experiencing an outage in Newcastle. Have power cycled router. Router is connected to node (DSL LED is on & router reporting line speeds of 107735/44199)

Router logs reporting "Jan 1 00:17:05 daemon err syslog: pppd:Couldn't get channel number: Transport endpoint is not connected"

Same here, 185% at 1:17am and 203% at 8:05am.

User facilities bar graph tells me 10.39GB

I've set up someone with a Siemen Gigaset 510ip. You can get extra handsets & chargers. They handle up to 4 VoIP services & 1 PSTN service & if you have multiple handsets, you can make/receive several concurrent calls They have an "Exetel" configuration in a drop down list, which takes the guesswork...

ADSL to FTTN time frame

Hi

My FTTN was activated 2 weeks ago tomorrow, how long does it take to port a PSTN number from Telstra to Exetel VoIP?

Also my user facilities still lists my old ADSL service as being active. When is should it be removed?

Hi HimaJ, On the 1/2/17 my friends received a $21.20 credit for the overcharges, but the VP6 plan is still on their current invoice dated 14/02/17. Since the VP6 plan is discontinued, there's no means for the user to cancel it from the user facilities. Can you please cancel the plan from your end? R...

I eventually got the VoIP settings to work, the issue was IE11 not being 100% compatible with the user facilites. Worked with Chrome!

I've progressed somewhat... I've made it to the Verification Required screen, but after 1/2 an hour, still no SMS to the nominated mobile (which I've checked & is correct) :roll:

I'm also having issues configuring VoIP, in particular enabling roaming (I want to enable from "Any Australian IP", but I keep getting "We can't find your contact mobile number" when it's already entered in the "Account Details" section of the User Facilities.

User Facilities Account Details

I'm unable to update the Billing Address details on the Accounts Details tab.

I click edit and enter in the details, then click save & the page appears to accept them, but when you go back to that page, what I just entered has be erased

Hi James We've done a trial with a Cisco IP phone & obtained the same voice quality that I experiance at home on ADSL2. They have a 12/1 Mbps service, which gave 11.8/0.9Mbps & ping times of 650ms via speedtest.net. It is early days with Sky Muster 1, so it will be interesting to see how VoIP will p...

Just wondering if Message Waiting Indicator service was supported by Exetel VoIP?
