Exetel GEO location data out of date

I gave 30 days notice to cancel my Exetel services at the start of May and noticed that I lost access to my VOIP service. Turned out that it was because Exetel thought my new IP address from my new RSP was "outside Australia". I meant to notify y'all, but it slipped my mind. The same thing happened ...

Hi James, I truly appreciate your offer - I should note for the record that since giving the 30 days notice to cancel my serv...

Re: The Exetel almost-13-year club

I joined Exetel ADSL1 back on 14 June 2004 - so 13 years this coming June 14, except it won't be because I have today given the required 30 days notice to cancel my Exetel services. This is not a decision which I took lightly. I feel sad. This sad state of affairs was brought about by the frequent P...

Cancellation

Now that there is no option in the User Facilities to cancel my services, do I contact Sales? Support? Provisioning? Billing?

Who do I contact to obtain the account number for porting a VoIP DID out to another VSP?

Thanks!

Current maintenance & outages updates

Unplanned Fibre Network Outage - Wagga Wagga , NSW (https://forum.exetel.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=296&t=43423) was not very helpful! Why? Because that event started at 23/04/2017 6.52 pm AEST and ... ... that post was made on Apr 24 at 11:52 am, more than 16 hours later! Additionally, the Technical Su...

Re: Pricing for new customers

On occasion, Exetel is taking advantage (as a customer) of promotions from their suppliers which only apply to the acquisition of new customers.

You don't mention the service you are comparing, so it's hard to know your situation.

Issue resolved itself around midnight - both Kindle and game now back online (along with the Amazon website which was also inaccessible)).

Amazon web service issues?

As of 4pm today (it was working several hours earlier), I've been unable to download Kindle books or play on online game which also makes use of AWS.

Is this a known issue?
