Can ANYONE send emails via Mail app on Iphone?

I have setup my iphone to send and receive emails. It doesn't send them. I have ADSL with Exetel, and a mobile phone service with them as well. So I should be able to send email from Exetels mobile service from my phone. So I spoke to Exetel support, and they verified my settings are correct. All th...

Re: You want twice for less?

Just to recap, 1) Exetel have breached their own T and Cs by not providing 30 days written notice of plan change. 2) The plans now on offer are not as competitive as other suppliers 3) There are no loyalty discounts for long time members anymore 4) Regional customers not in 4G service areas, are sub...

My wife was on the Z8 plan and was advised like the rest of you that the plan will end and the next best plan was the 'basic" at $15pm. Plan Type: Z8 Monthly Access Charge: $8.00 Call & SMS Included Value: $165.00 Exetel to Exetel Included Call Value: $148.00 Included Data: 200MB That plan is perfec...

Do you have an ETA on when new or additional plans will be added?
It has been as few weeks since your communication that things will be changing?

Mobile Plan Gap

Gents, I think you should have a look at the mobile plans on offer as there seems to be a massive jump in price and services from the Small to Medium plans. Surely theres room inbetween. Perhaps rejig plans so Small starts at $15, SM=$25, M=$40 etc My reasoning .... $20 a month is a bit much for a s...

Re: How do you set the APN on iPhone5?

Yes, I do need to tether. Then Exetel should tell us that the APN is automatically set. On the correspondance I received from Exetel it was very clear I needed to be 100% certain I have the APN correct. How can I do that if Optus block the option? Perhaps Exetel should ammend the info they send out....

Re: How do you set the APN on iPhone5?

Nope thats wrong, the iphone5 doesnt have Cellular as an option.

FYI I fixed it myself ...
I went to this site via Safari on my phone, selected 'Exetel (Optus)' and it sets the APN to "YESINTERNET"
www.unlockit.co.nz

Better to do this and be sure its set the right APN.

Cheers

Re: How do you set the APN on iPhone5?

From what I have seen on the Net, it should automatically be the correct one, eg yesinternet.

Not keen on using an APN changer program if it is already correct.
