I don't understand? A prepaid service for $0.00? Usually 'prepaid' means you need to prepay an amount.Pennytel have a prepaid service for $0/mth minimum charge which does the job. Could Exetel create their own version of this perhaps for those that want $0 minimum charge VOIP service?

Re: VoIP Plan decommissioning
Also, what happened to Exetel's VP1 plan under Manage Services > Add-On Service Packs? We will look into it and put it back if what you say is true. I'm in the category (one of the 000's I assume) that only use VoIP for expensive calls, i.e. international calls to landlines/mobiles. Since I only ca...

Re: VoIP Changes
Any VPx plans are in addition to the base VoIP plans. Nothing will change with them. It is your choice if you want to cancel them or retain them. The base VoIP plans (RV5, RV15, RV30) are all pro-rated and billed in arrears. So they will be billed from the conversion date (15/4/2012) for the period ...

Re: Premium Service Barring
Unfortunately Exetel receive too many complaints on reverse billing premium text messages to allow a higher limit.

Re: VoIP Plan decommissioning
Thank you for your input. There are many and varied ways the conversion thresholds could have been done. fsm - We thought these a fair way but it would be simply impossible to keep each and every one of the customers affected by this - happy. Clearly you are one of the unhappy ones. Customers have p...

Re: Help for Galaxy S/Z15 please
1) If I call my Exetel DID does this call come under the Exetel to Exetel included calls? No, if you read the exclusion conditions on the website, you will note this: Calls from an Exetel mobile service to an Exetel landline or VoIP service are not classified as on-net ‘Exetel to Exetel’ calls and ...

Re: OCV200/35 plan renewal query - mobile component
If this is the case, can I switch the mobile number attached to this plan over to a Z plan before the end of January so as to take advantage of the discount, without any early breaking fee / penalty? I also have a second mobile number on a Z8 plan, ordered July 2011, on a 12 month contract. Is it p...

Re: Transfer Your Current PSTN Home Number To Exetel VoIP
What's the current story about porting PSTN number to VOIP DIDs? Can it be done with the Optus bundled plans? Yes this is possible. Must it be done when the plans are first ordered? Not necessarily. It's important to note that regardless of whether it is an existing Exetel PSTN service or belonging...

Re: Allow Port of PSTN for Fax & Biz Grade Web Hosting
It is good that Exetel allows you to port the PSTN Number to VoIP In the Business Customers Facilities, however when I tried to signup to the Fax to Email Service, It said that PSTN Numbers to use on Fax to Desktop is "unavailible" at present. That's a little annoying, as I was hoping to cut my fax...
