Re: Error when receiving emails

I replied to this earlier so not sure what happened!

Those old settings were working up until 8 am this morning. Anyhow I downloaded Outlook from the link next to my email accounts on the Exetel site and all is fixed.

Thanks for your help.

Re: Troubleshooting for Email issues.

I solved it by logging on to the Exetel site and downloading Outlook from the icon next to my email address. It was a .reg file so I guess it changed the registry.

At least it is fixed now and I hope it stays that way.

Thanks for your help.

Re: Error when receiving emails

I am using Vista and Outlook 2007. I have tried creating new accounts using the settings on the links and it's still not working. I can't do it automatically and when I type them in they are not accepted either. Interestingly my old account settings were mail.exetel.com.au and pop3 (no NSW). Halpppp!

Error when receiving emails

There has been Windows update overnight and this morning I am able to send but not receive emails. I keep getting the log in type box that requests my password, which I type in and select remember then OK, then it comes straight up again. I have been into Tools, Accounts and selected repair. I can s...

Re: Moved house and I am set up but . . .

I thought I was lucky as well but got disconnected! For about 24 hours I could access my webmail and Exetel's website (but not the forum) and kept getting the Exetel error page ie, the one that says I have spam, a virus etc. Then I was fully disconnected.

And today I am finally back online again!

Another hoax email supposedly from Exetel

I just got this one from help.desk@exemail.com.au. I am sure it is a hoax as it is asking for username and password details: Your Exemail mailbox size in our data base has exceeded the percentage of its allotted quota. Disk usage: 963109KB Mail Quota: 1048576KB Message Quota: 8354, *****************...

Moving locally - what do I need?

Hi I have been doing a bit of research and looked at the Exetel website and am now a bit confused! I am moving and want to take my Exetel service with me. I currently have old-fashioned ADSL with a standard plug-into phone jack modem and a desktop PC. The new house does not have a telephone jack in ...

Re: Spam and Spam the Spam Filter

I too am being inundated with spam emails. I have subscribed to the Spam Filter option. This allows the emails to get to me but are marked (mostly anyway) as spam. Is this the way the filter is supposed to work? I also subscribe for the spam filter option for both of my exemail email addresses howe...
