Re: Moving to diff exchange possible?

What if I cancel everything with Exetel (including the land line service). Then go elsewhere to get a new number (yes, I'm willing to go to that extend).

Will that some how make any different or is copper wire already physically connected to MILLER EXCHANGE and there's nothing I can do about it?

Moving to diff exchange possible?

:?: I've been wondering why my ADSL2+ connection is significantly slower than my neighbor (who's with TPG by the way). Now I found out that he's connected to EDENSOR PARK EXCHANGE (0.5km away) whereas my line is connected to MILLER EXCHANGE (3.5km away). Is it possible to request EXETEL to move my c...

Re: wm-a to wm-b

I'm not happy :x I'm currently on WM-A and I want to port to WM-B and keep my number. Exetel told me it's not possible, because Optus won't port the number that is already on the Optus network. To go from A to B, I have two options: 1) get a new number (no blardy way!!!) 2) get out of WM-B by portin...

Re: Am I on Vodafone 3G or GPRS?

Thanks. anorher related question. I have SBSettings installed on my iPhone. When I'm in 3G area, I turn off EDGE (3G still ON) I can't browse. I have to have both 3G and EDGE turned ON to browse Internet. That makes me wonder if the 3G and EDGE toggles in SBSettings are just the same thing, but diff...

Great! By the way, do I need to change the APN to "exetel1" or just keep the default Vodafone settings.

Am I on Vodafone 3G or GPRS?

Hi, I've been using the iPhone 2G on Mobile Plan 4 plus Mobile Data 1 (100MB), so I understand that I've been browsing through Vodafone GPRS. Now, I've just got a iPhone 3G, so I stick my exetel SIM card in there and start browsing. Question: Am I now browsing through Vodafone 3G or still GPRS? Than...

Re: Free web space "Creation failed"

I tried with a number of names. For names that are already in use the script will say "already taken" or something like that.

Free web space "Creation failed"

Admin please help. When I enter a name for my free web space and click "Add" it says "creation failed". Try many times, no go!
