What is involved in a change of account name for a fixed-term home broadband service ?
Please drop an email to billing@exetel.com.au and we will send you the process.
Its a very simple process where the existing owner agrees to transfer and the new owners agreeing to take over the services.

Re: Interim payments and unfair SMS blocking

Or am I missing something? If I pay the $10 do I get unblocked and then credited the $9.65 if I make no further international SMS? The Dashboard alert is a bit confusing as it indicates the amount to pay is $10 but clicking on the "Pay more to stay unblocked" link it says Current excess usage $0.35...

Re: Pro rata charge on mobile plans?

I'm on an ExeSim Saver mobile plan. My contract end date is on the 5th of the month. Currently the monthly data/call plan resets are on the 1st of the month and I'm billed for that around the middle of the month. If I cancel my plan on any date after the 5th do only get charge pro rata on the days ...

The Due Dates on invoices I receive keep changing so it's impossible to synchronise with my bank's scheduled transfer options. Westpac Scheduled Payment Options - Daily - Weekly - Every 2 weeks - Every 3 weeks - Every 4 weeks - Monthly - Every 2 months - Every 12 weeks - Quarterly - Every 4 months ...

Re: Data Settings

Hi Exetel, Though it seems quite clear but I just like to double confirm that, with your "Spend control function", I can set it to "stop data" when all quota used up and wait for the next billing cycle data to become available? At the same time, I can restrict all extra cost features, like premium ...

Re: International calls from mobile when not included in plan

Hi,

If the spend management was set to $0 then the service would get blocked after this call.
On request, we can completely block the ability to make international calls.
Please PM me your service number and email address so I can have a look and get back to you with more specific details.

Thanks.

Re: Charged STD for same SZU

Exetel have agreed to refund the difference between the local and STD rate this month, but insist they are just passing on charges from Telstra, and will continue to charge at STD rates if we call these numbers. I have spoken to Telstra who indicate it is Exetel's responsibility to follow up with t...
