Re: Billed for a month when I haven't moved in yet...

Well, I got told I have to pay anyway, as I didn't nominate a start date for the service - which wasn't an option when I ordered the service online, which was what I was told to do when I called. I will just suck it up I guess, I've had good service for so many years and next to no outages with Exe...

Re: NBN Notification of Service Installation

I've been advised by NBN.Co that my property will be connected sometime between the 6th of June and the 26th of October. As I'm an existing customer, is there anything I need to do, or do Exetel get informed and automatically switch me over, or what? Hi, Kindly PM your service details. We will arra...

Re: Confusing mobile plan - 'unlimited' calls must be 2 minutes or less?

I'm looking at the Critical Information Summary for the 12-month mobile contracts. All 12-month plans say: "Standard excess call rate (charged per minute): Unlimited " " Unlimited national calls and text" " Excess National Voice Calls to PSTN, Mobile and 13/1300 Numbers: Free " But on page 1 of the...

Re: How do I switch to $30 cheaper NBN plan?

How do I switch to the $30's cheaper 50/20 Unlimited NBN plan? I've been checking the members facilities for a long time for cheaper plans since NBNCo announced they were giving out RSP discounts or whatever... various ISP's have given people cheaper plans already apparently... Don't tell me the ch...

Re: New Pricing

Very disappointing response from Exetel. Summary is new pricing isn't being offered to all existing customers despite NBN wholesale prices decreasing for all connections. Very poor form and will be moving to a different provider and stop recommending Exetel as a provider going forward. HI We apolog...

Re: New Pricing

I am currently paying $69.99 for 50/20 500Gb but I notice on the main page that this now costs $59.99 off-contract or $54.99 on-contract. I also notice that 100/40 plans are now also available for my address. On myexetel page neither the new pricing or the faster plans are available. My original co...

Re: Porting numbers into Exetel

I hope this will trigger a similar speedy response. I received a sim two days ago to port a second number from vodaphone to Exetel. On the services page of My Exetel the status has remained pending for these two days since attempting to activate. Vodaphone has contacted us and we have confirmed tha...

Re: Phone Line with NBN

I recently switch from ADSL to NBN and while my ADSL has been disconnected I noticed that my latest invoice still has a phone line rental listed for Jan 2018. Without ADSL I no longer use the phone line, do I need to do something else to cancel this service. Other than a phone why else would I need...

Re: Please check my new plan details (contract length)

2 days ago I submitted a request to upgrade my internet speed to the 50/20Mbps plan (same quota allowance). I had meant to choose the 18 month contract term and not the 12 month contract term, please make sure my account is set up with an 18 month contract term. Why am I asking about this? The conf...

Hi, I am moving house in a couple of weeks and was wondering if someone could give me an idiots guide to moving my internet over. Re: Changing from ADSL TO NBN not available in myexetel

I recently migrated my dad from Exetel ADSL to Extel NBN. It was a painless process using his myexetel page and he was offered the NBN modem for free. NBN has become available in my house this month. When I check my address on Exetel's checker it says it is available but I don't have the same optio...
